This collaboration takes you on a journey to understand all beliefs are programmed by society, family, school, relationships, religion and exposure to everyday life. The "Shoulds" of life put us in boxes, separated from True Self and what Divine has for us. As we release and recover from the addiction of old beliefs that hold us back, we break free and find connection to Source, God, Universe, Mother Earth, Great Father: whatever words are in your vocabulary for Life Force Energy, your Guiding Light. Within these pages, you witness the courage of thirteen contributors as you read stories of recovery, inner reflection and growth. Accounts of their shadow work, which has brought them into a higher understanding of what their TRUE beliefs are, inspire you to move out of what others have told you to believe. Each writer has come through their dark night of the soul in various ways. There is a story for everyone whether it's about defiance, fear, peacefulness, unease, learning personal worth and value, sharing vulnerability or leaning into healing; even when it seems what you are going through is more than you can handle. You will gain insight and understanding of how others not only recovered but are now flourishing after abuse, illness and the rollercoaster journey of first liking, then truly loving self. We share enlightenment, steering you to discern how lessons come and the surprising forms in which teachers and guides appear, often disguised, ultimately for our highest good. Through forgiveness, compassion, seeing the unseen, acknowledging desires to change programmed beliefs, we are thriving while continuing to find and shed layer upon layer of expectations. Find your True Self; what YOU believe and want for yourself, not what others say you should be and do. This book will change your life as it has changed the lives of everyone involved in the project. You might find yourself getting uncomfortable because you relate to what is on the page. Don't hide from the pain, allow it to guide you to healing and recovery. You must first acknowledge the pain and question what belief system is working in you. Then decide what to continue believing and thinking and how, when and where to move to something new and more true to YOU. Take the step, you deserve it! Namaste Holly shares about her life: "As the court clerk placed the freshly printed restraining order into my trembling hands, their statement jolted me into a newfound reality: "This will not save your life, learn to defend yourself." And so, my remarkable journey began...." You will hear from Tami: "This journey on Earth for me has been a difficult one, though not in vain. Through my journey of finding Self Love........ This chapter in my book of life is about activating my heart and being able to not only fall in love with, but to fall into LIKE with myself. I have come to the conclusion that the person who abused me is my teacher. Over the most recent years my journey has been one of healing, growth and ascension ....." Dianne writes: "My journey of transitioning from caterpillar to butterfly has been amazing and I am not quite sure if it will ever reach the point of completion..... " Laurie writes about: "Stripping away layers of my life. This is what reprogramming feels like (to me). It feels like ripping band aid after band aid off my body until I start getting down to what is real." Judith says: "To me Going Beyond means shedding the self you thought you were through conditioning and finding out who you really are and what you really believe. For me that involved shedding beliefs centered around religion and the type of job I needed to have ....." Laura expresses questions and some answers: "Where is the starting point? At what point do you turn your back on everything that has made you who you are up to this point!? Where can I find the courage to do that?"

Im too fat. I MUST be successful. Im scared. Its because when I was a kid Daddy is never home. We all have frameworks weve built for ourselves throughout life. Ways of being. Of believing. Glasses through which we see life. Whether positive or negative, they shape our whole being and affect our daily lives. From being unsatisfied at home or in a relationship, to impressions left with us from childhood, we constantly live out of lives through these lenses we create in our mind. In Mindshift, Drs. Marty Lerman and Samuel Kupper seek to take the reader on an experiential journey to show how simple changes in perception, a reworking of the way we see through our own lenses, can create drastic positive change. Read about how one woman conquered cancer, how a veteran came home and now lives without the lasting effects of war, how kids no longer suffer from ADHD, and more. If these people can create these kinds of changes in their lives with just a simple shift of the mind, imagine what you could do. Your mind is powerful. Harness it. Shift.

Ten years ago, the world Dasmel knew stopped with a blinding flash in the sky. Society dove into chaos as people discovered electronics no longer worked, and The Silence began. Years of panic and anarchy followed, until a small group of hackers restored enough order for the survivors to begin rebuilding life in this harsh, new world. Dasmel suffered during The Silence at the hands of one of the cruelest self-proclaimed leaders. As she healed and found strength to escape and fight back, she made it her mission to bring justice to the victims The Silence created. With her crew for support and her massive Amphicyons as backup, she hunts down the men who have twisted the mayhem of The Silence to feed their appetites for power and control. Revenge drives her to seek her main target: the one man responsible for her scars. But that path leads her to unexpected people and places that challenge the image she built for herself. The Silence is over. But Dasmel’s story is only just beginning.

Intrahousehold Resource Allocation And Well Being written by Fatimata Dia Sow and has been published by BRILL this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2023-09-04 with Social Science categories.

In this last decade, poverty in developing countries remains the most important topic of debate at the international level. The main challenge is how to build policies and programs on a gender perspective approach taking into account gender differences in behavior between male and female at the level of the household. This study is undertaken in a context of two earner partners living in mixed farming systems in Senegal where earnings come primarily from crops and livestock. This book provides substantial research focused on household decision-making regarding resource allocation and consumption. Moreover, it attempts to show empirical findings on the analysis of welfare and well-being through an innovative combination of subjective and objective methods. The research shows how important socioeconomic and cultural factors are in determining earnings from agricultural activities. Important determinants of productivity are related to women’s land access, non-labor income (transfers from migrants), and the wife's access to credit and health care. The research illustrates also that women's bargaining power may be strongly linked to their access to livestock resources, their mobility in purchasing food and medicine and their participation in the management of household finance. Analysis of decision-making regarding expenditures shows that women, more than men, value household goods (related to food, health and schooling expenditures) more than private goods. The results suggest that policies aimed at improving household livelihoods must understand gender differences, obligations and priorities.
