The best thing about a gift is that it's free, but it must be received for it to be opened. Greatness is a gift from God we must deliberately cultivate, and pressure is a part of the cultivation process to greatness. Pressure is a force exerted on or against an object by something in contact with it. To experience pressure means to be processed and we must be processed to be able to walk in greatness. We will all face pressure in life. In fact, it is an essential part of life. Look at diamonds, pearls, or even gold. The backstory to their greatness is pressure. We, too, have a backstory, and like the diamond, we will face pressure. As with the pearl, we will face irritable situations, and like a piece of gold, we will face fiery trials. However, the pressure is necessary for greatness to come forth. We are more valuable to God than those precious gems, but God uses pressure to strengthen, purify, and build us up. Many of us like to think that pressure can be avoided. However, the truth is that pressure, come to us all in one way or another Whether it is a relationship, career choice, or life decision, we will face pressure. I've come to understand that rejection is God's protection and redirection from a path or paths that are not aligned with God's plan and purpose for our lives. Rejection is also God's redirection for Him to perform a resurrection. Some situations that we get ourselves in that will actually kill our purpose. Yet the grace of God is bigger than anything and everything. I wrote this book to not only share my backstory to unlocking my greatness, but also to encourage and empower people to recognize greatness comes from pressure. It is through my faith in Jesus Christ that I realized in pressured times that greatness resided inside of me and the pressure was a part of the process. The grace of God kept me. I want you to know that greatness resides in you. There is grace for tomorrow.
