Grace is God at work in a person's life. It is divine help or assistance channeled into our lives as God's children. "And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom and the grace of God was upon him" (Luke 2:40). God's grace encompasses his favor, delight, and beauty. It is the activation of these divine attributes through grace that makes a destiny colorful. Grace is the divine vehicle that brings to reality the abundant life that the Lord Jesus Christ has offered us through his death and resurrection. He is the author of grace and truth. The greatest apostle of all time, Paul, attributed all his unparalleled accomplishments in life and ministry to the power of grace. Apostle Paul literally put his life and ministry on the line, in defense of the gospel of the grace of God for this reason. Hear him: "And now behold I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there; Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I have received of the Lord Jesus TO TESTIFY THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD" (Acts 20:22-24; emphasis mine). I pray that this message will help to provoke a hunger in our heart to seek and maximize God's grace in our lives to the glory of our heavenly Father. Welcome to graceful living!
