"Resumen ejecutivo: Para analizar el posicionamiento de las universidades españolas se han consultado ocho rankings de referencia (casi todos de universidades) , siendo seis de ellos in ternacionales y dos nacionales. Dichos rankings son: Academic Ranking of World Universities 2016 (ARWU, Shanghai ranking), SCImago Institutions Rankings 2016 (SIR), Nature Index data 2016 , We bometrics Ranking Mundial Universidades 2016, Reuters, Europe's Most Innovative Universities 2016 , QS World University Rankings 2016 - 2017 , Ranking El Mundo de Universidades Españolas 2016/2017 y ISSUE U - Ranking de las Universidades Españolas 2016. Para ent ender mejor sus resultados, se ha analizado la metodología seguida y los indicadores creados para posicionar a las distintas instituciones. Se ha elaborado una Matriz de Posicionamiento en la que se han cruzado las instituciones españolas y la posición en la que aparecen en los diversos rankings consultados. Así mismo, se ha representado de forma gráfica los resultados de cada ranking y se ha determinado el porcentaje d e centros españoles con respecto al total de las instituciones incluidas en los rankings internacionales. Con toda esta información se ha podido concluir que hay centros españoles que destacan por posicionarse en altos puestos en los rankings consultados y por aparecer de forma simultánea en los mismos. Esto indica que dichos centros destacan en diversas áreas : producción científica, elaborac ión de tecnología patentable, calidad de la docencia , presencia web y la integración del centro con la sociedad. Se ha elaborado un top 10 de universidades españolas en función de su posición en los ocho rankings analizados y se han estudiado las claves de su éxito. La mayoría de las universidades del top 10 se encuentran en las grandes urbes españolas: Barcelona, Madrid y Valencia. Pero tambi én entr an en este top 10 las universidades de ciudades más pequeñas como Granada y Santiago de Compostela. Son 17 las universidades españolas que acaparan los 10 mejores puestos de las instituciones españolas en los ocho rankings e studiados y sólo dos de ellas e stán presentes en todos ellos: la Universidad de Barcelona y la Autónoma de Barcelona. Y, de entre todas las universidades , destaca la Universidad de Barcelona , como la institución española mejor posicionada en los rankings s eleccionados , ocupando la primera posición de las universidades de España en cuatro de ellos: de Shanghái , QS, SCImago y Reuters. The 2020 edition of The State of World Fisheries and Aquaculture has a particular focus on sustainability. This reflects a number of specific considerations. First, 2020 marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries (the Code). Second, several Sustainable Development Goal indicators mature in 2020. Third, FAO hosted the International Symposium on Fisheries Sustainability in late 2019, and fourth, 2020 sees the finalization of specific FAO guidelines on sustainable aquaculture growth, and on social sustainability along value chains. While Part 1 retains the format of previous editions, the structure of the rest of the publication has been revised. Part 2 opens with a special section marking the twenty fifth anniversary of the Code. It also focuses on issues coming to the fore, in particular, those related to Sustainable Development Goal 14 and its indicators for which FAO is the “custodian” agency. In addition, Part 2 covers various aspects of fisheries and aquaculture sustainability. The topics discussed range widely, from data and information systems to ocean pollution, product legality, user rights and climate change adaptation. Part 3 now forms the final part of the publication, covering projections and emerging issues such as new technologies and aquaculture biosecurity. It concludes by outlining steps towards a new vision for capture fisheries.
