HALLELUJAH - HE IS NOT HERE; HE HAS RISEN. BOOK 5 in the FAITH CHRONICLES SERIES THE NEW TESTAMENT "And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher. They entered in and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. It came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. As they were afraid and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why do you seek the living among the dead?"- Luke 24: 2-5 (KJV) Jesus Christ is the most well-known name in the world! He is the only man to have walked the earth, and his story told to in hundreds upon hundreds of different ways over the last two thousand years. No matter who you talk to, everyone has heard about him and his many miracles and his deeds. Since little was written about Jesus in his first thirty years, this novel will begin when he was first baptized by John the Baptist, a cousin of Jesus. If we take a close look at the Gospels, a comprehensive picture emerges of Jesus Christ. In these writings, there's no gentle Jesus meek and mild, but more so a person so dynamic and so inspiring that even hardcore fisherman, Roman soldiers, strict tax collectors, and a man with one of the foremost intellects of his day, the apostle Paul, were all standing in line to put their reputations out on the line in order to follow Christ. Our exciting story begins on Jesus' thirtieth birthday. We do know, however, that before this, Jesus was born in Bethlehem. His mother Mary is believed to have had Jesus through immaculate conception. The life story told in this novel begins, primarily, with the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist. It was at this time John announced that Jesus was, in fact, the Son of God. Secondly, Jesus finds his first three followers, better known as his disciples. There were finally twelve disciples who accompanied Jesus until the end of his life on the earth. The ministry of Jesus is characterized by many extraordinary and miraculous actions. At his Sermon on the Mount, he delivered the Beatitudes, which were spiritual teachings of compassion, humility, and love. He fed the hungry. He healed the sick. The more miracles he performed, the more people followed him and listened to his teachings attentively. The life of the Lord is paramount to all Christians in every walk of life. Every Christian should know about the life of Jesus Christ and the ministry of his spiritual leadership.

Grounded In The Gospel written by J. I. Packer and has been published by Baker Books this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2010-04-01 with Religion categories.

Historically, the church's ministry of grounding new believers in the essentials of the faith has been known as catechesis--systematic instruction in faith foundations, including what we believe, how we pray and worship, and how we conduct our lives. For most evangelicals today, however, this very idea is an alien concept. Packer and Parrett, concerned for the state of the church, seek to inspire a much needed evangelical course correction. This new book makes the case for a recovery of significant catechesis as a nonnegotiable practice of churches, showing the practice to be complementary to, and of no less value than, Bible study, expository preaching, and other formational ministries, and urging evangelical churches to find room for this biblical ministry for the sake of their spiritual health and vitality.

Books 4 and 5 Compiled into Book 7 of the Faith Chronicles GENESIS …imagine stepping onto the shoreline and finding out it's Heaven Have you ever read your Bible and stop, go back to the beginning and reread it? Do you ever find that there is no wow? No impact. No overwhelming thought that strikes you because it is so hard to understand. You're not alone. Memories growing up with my grandmother, the Reverend Ada Caston Slaton Bonds, shed complete light on the many Books of the Bible. She was a great storyteller, just like Jesus, when he spread the word of God in parables. Be it Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas, she always had a story to tell and practiced her Sunday morning sermons preaching her discourse to my brothers and me just outside Mansfield, Louisiana. No longer do you or your children have to read the Bible until something "hits" you. My first novel in the Sunday School Series portrays a fresh approach to the scriptures…a down to earth storytelling of the words of God beginning with, well, the beginning. The writings in the Book of Genesis have sometimes been referred to as the seed plot of the entire Bible. As complicated as it could be in scripture form, most of the major doctrines of the Bible are introduced to all of us in this so-called seed form in this book. Along with the fall of mankind, God's promise of salvation and redemption are put in plain words in this first novel in the Sunday School Series of the Holy Book. The doctrines of creation, the accusation of sin, justification, grace, faith, and much more are all addressed in this Book of origins. HALLELUJAH – He is Not Here; He Has Risen. WHAT IS TRUE LOVE? "True love is not necessary the number of kisses, or how frequently one gets them, TRUE LOVE is the feeling that still remains long after the kiss is over." Crux Ansata – The Lost City of Ankara is a gothic-fantasy novel that follows as a sequel to Nevaeh – The Lost City of Nemea from the Caves of Chivateros in Peru. It is Book Three in the Omega Chronicles. Freja Jensen, contemplating retiring from BeeBop Publishing Group in Austin, Texas, received a brown paper parcel in the mail. She opened the package and saw that it was from Lucas Hansen, or his pen name, Lucas Pedersen. With the letter was a manuscript. Another letter received was from a doctor who asked to remain anonymous. Included in a small teakwood box was an ancient sistrum, an Egyptian musical instrument with magical powers, and had the etching of an ankh on top. In this sequel to Nevaeh – The Lost City of Nemea, a twenty-year search begins by Lucas and Oliver Hansen to try and find Oliver's lost True Love. You might ask, "What is true love? No one can really define what it is. Thousands upon thousands of people will have an answer. Many answers will point to a feeling they experience, but never has the Truth been more known until one reads the dramatic conclusion in this sequel, CRUX ANSATA. In the case of Oliver Hansen, also known as the Golden One, his love, unlike feelings, doesn't come and go. It stays with him for over twenty years as he searches for that one true love, the Goddess Nevaeh. He explores through the good and the bad… and when we say bad, we mean really bad! As long as Oliver searches for the Truth, he holds on to his love for Nevaeh. Romance is not the only thing that holds two people in love together. True love doesn't just happen. One must be careful, as shown by Oliver's father, Lucas Hansen when he confuses infatuation for true love. True love occurs when time has passed. In our case, over twenty years. But, when Oliver sees both the good and the bad parts of the one he loves, will he remain faithful to his path in life… to a chance for finding real and everlasting love. Remember, True Love is not a feeling one experiences, but a decision one makes. This takes time and genuine commitment. Oliver must choose in this dramatic conclusion in this sequel. How will he choose? Will he choose the priestess he ran away with over 2,000 years earlier? Or, will he choose another? It's something to think about as one reads the dramatic conclusion to Oliver's search for True Love as he falls to his knees and says, "I love you like you are the last of my kind. To be around you after so many years is like finally not being alone. It is as if all my life has been isolated, in a room without windows or a room without a door… and then you suddenly walk in as if strolling over a springtime meadow. So, why I can still have a breath, I'm yours in mind, body, and soul throughout all eternity." "And you descended the glacier's steep stairwell to depths, not knowing what laid beneath that fearful path. All these dangers you faced on your own choice… your choice of True Love… your true and faithful devotion to me, my Oliver. Do you finally understand at last?"
