Sudah ada banyak buku tentang pendekatan-pendekatan material dalam ilmu manajemen, dan saya kira sudah saatnya saya berangkat dari sisi lain. Selain karena saya tidak ingin menggarami lautan manajemen yang mahaluas, saya memang cenderung melihat kehidupan ini sebagai sebuah balance antara materi dan spiritual, logika dan rasa, kepala dan hati.

Diawali dengan Radio Rodja di Cileungsi, Bogor, Jawa Barat, kini hampir semua pesantren Salafi di Indonesia mendirikan radio dakwah, baik yang komersial maupun bersifat komunitas. Beberapa contoh bisa disebut di sini: As-Sunnah dan Dyaus Sunnah di Cirebon, Majas dan Islamic Center Bin Baz (ICCB) di Yogyakarta, Radio Hang di Batam, dan Radio al-Rayyan di Gresik, Jawa Timur. Radio-radio ini menjadi corongyangefektif dalam penyebaran doktrin dan ajaran Salafisme di Indonesia. Dalam beberapa kasus, siaran dakwah mereka mengkritik ajaran dan praktik keagamaan kelompok Muslim lain, terutama kelompok tradisionalis, dan karenanya memunculkan ketegangan di masyarakat.
