The World Order revival started with Abraham Lincoln and reignited by America and South Africa. As the world history confirms various events, it is true that human beings and other animal Kingdoms have always struggled to lead a free life with all rights for the pursuit of happiness in different capacities. Unfortunately, it is now recognized that the struggle towards that effect is distracted and sometimes completely obstructed by one group over another without a real workable unanimous new World Order. The result is disorderly world of chaos and wars where anybody can be a launcher, but everybody remains a target. The response to such an effect is definitely projected to be the turning point of hope and the purpose of this book if positive accomplishments can be expected in the future generations. Falls was a black Catholic medical doctor who dedicated his life to healing rifts created by white supremacy and racism. He integrated theology, the social sciences, and personal experience to compose a salve that was capable of not only integrating neighborhoods but also eradicating the segregation that existed in Chicago hospitals. Falls was able to reframe the basic truths of the Christian faith in a way that unleashed their prophetic power. He referred to those Catholics who promoted segregation in Chicago as believers in the "mythical body of Christ," as opposed to the mystical body of Christ. In this book Sunggu Yang proposes five socio-ecclesial codes as unique faith fundamentals of Korean American Christianity. Drawing from rigorous research and years of ecclesial experience, Yang names the codes as follows: the Wilderness Pilgrimage code, the Diasporic Mission Code, the Confucian Egalitarian code, the Buddhist Shamanistic code, and the Pentecostal Liberation code. These five codes, he asserts, help Korean Americans sustain their lives, culture, faith, and evangelical mission as aliens or “pilgrims” in the American “wilderness.” Yang outlines how his five proposed codes serve as liberative and prophetic mechanisms of faith through which Korean Americans can contribute to racial harmony and cultural diversity in North America. In this sense, Korean American Christianity—its theology and spirituality—works not only on behalf of Korean Americans, but also for the sake of all Americans.
