L’expansion du territoire canadien grâce à l’immigration massive, sa traversée par le chemin de fer et par la télégraphie renouvellent entièrement la dynamique de l’imprimé, de Terre-Neuve à Dawson City. Advances in Canada's postal service carried print to a wider audience. Unchallenged by other media until the 1890s, print retained a central role in Canadian society into the new century and remained a key source of information and propaganda during the war years.
