El estudio del arte de la Bioeconomía y El Cambio Climático es una compilación de los cientícos miembros de la red CYTED de Bioeconomía y Cambio Climático. El objetivo es identicar el estado del arte de la Bioeconomía en los países iberoamericanos. Es estudiar los senderos productivos de la bioeconomía y sus alcances de cara a fortalecer una agenda país que permita acciones a una economía de futuro donde los recursos renovables se utilicen con optimización. Como segunda parte, en nuestra compilación hacemos un esfuerzo por enfocar la epistemología de la Bioeconomía a los sistemas de producción agrarios y como se interaccionan con las variaciones del cambio climático. En tal sentido, nuestra hipótesis empírica se fundamenta en que la Bioeconomía es una de las alternativas de futuro para que los sistemas de producción utilicen los recursos basados en los residuos (Biomasa) generando un valor agregado amigable con el medio ambiente, contribuyendo de esta forma a una resiliencia a las variaciones del cambio climático desde la perspectiva de la Bioeconomía. La compilación la hemos dividido en cuatro grandes partes. En la primera se aborda la Bioeconomía y los senderos productivos, donde explicamos la nota conceptual de bioeconomía y exponemos algunas aplicaciones de los senderos productivos en ALC. La segunda parte relaciona la Bioeconomía y el Cambio Climático. Se incluyen cuatro capítulos. El primero hace una valoración de impactos del cambio climático en la producción agraria, en el segundo capítulo se analizan las metodologías para estudiar el cambio climático, en el tercer capítulo se hace un inventario de los modelos de predicción y los centros de meteorología en ALC , en el cuarto capítulo se hace una referencia de la actividad solar, clima y la productividad agraria, y nalmente, el quinto capítulo de hace un estudio de caso de los modelos de simulación como herramienta ecaz en los estudios del manejo óptimo del agua y la fertilización en diferentes sistemas de producción. En la tercera parte se hace un esfuerzo de analizar los instrumentos de medición de la Bioeconomía. El enfoque de la eciencia ambiental mediante el análisis envolvente de datos es un enfoque de métodos y evidencias empíricas. Finalmente, la cuarta parte es un esfuerzo para construir una agenda política de Bioeconomía en Iberoamérica. En tal sentido, se hace un estudio del estado del arte de las políticas sectoriales y normas regulatorias de la bioeconomía y el cambio climático en Latinoamérica.
