Questo lavoro intende rivalutare il ruolo di fotografo di teatro, in un percorso di analisi che parte dagli anni '70 per concludersi nei '90. È il periodo in cui Maurizio Buscarino, fotografo di teatro, segue in numerose rappresentazioni italiane il regista polacco Tadeusz Kantor, regalandoci una vasta raccolta di scatti che ad oggi rappresentano la memoria collettiva del lavoro kantoriano sulla scena. Questo, dunque, il punto di partenza. La memoria degli spettacoli di Kantor attraverso l'opera fotografica di Maurizio Buscarino. Per introdurre l'argomento, è stato necessario in prima istanza valutare la situazione sociale e storica del teatro di quell'epoca. Un'epoca avanguardistica, dove la sperimentazione riscuoteva un notevole successo in tutto il continente europeo. Ed è in questo clima di fermento e rinnovamento che prende vita il progetto kantoriano del Cricot2, teatro composto da attori professionisti come da gente comune, atto a rappresentare il valore della memoria dello stesso demiurgo polacco. Buscarino in questo frangente opera con una certa continuità, lavorando con e sul regista in molti spettacoli. Un rapporto di lavoro atipico e “rischioso”, ma certo degno di nota. A tal fine viene analizzata la poetica kantoriana, i dogmi del regista che in un certo senso si riflettono nelle immagini: gli oggetti, l'allestimento della scena come la sensibilità degli attori, l'atmosfera fatta di ombre tipica di un linguaggio originale e senza precedenti. Il ruolo del fotografo di teatro viene analizzato nella parte successiva, che funge da introduzione al lavoro fotografico vero e proprio di Buscarino su Kantor. Vengono in questo caso analizzate le motivazioni, le sensazioni e le difficoltà intercorse nel lavoro al fianco del regista, ne viene analizzato lo stile, i tratti riconoscibili, le tecniche. Il poeta è lo scrittore che più di altri è consapevole di ciò, sa benissimo che il suo mondo è impenetrabile, ma allo stesso tempo unico, ed è solo la parola che essendo di tutti, è in grado di porre un ponte. La poesia non cede alle lusinghe della semplificazione della vita, o meglio non cede al tentativo di poterla semplificare, diremmo che il poeta sa che questi tentativi sono fallimentari già dal loro sorgere. La vita è un intreccio difficile e il modo per comprendere siffatto intreccio verso la vita, è far emergere la metafora che regge l'intreccio e molto spesso questo impegno farebbe pagare il dazio di una incomprensibilità di fondo, aprendo nuove opportunità di incontri vitali. Ci piace ricordare le parole di Umberto Saba: «Il poeta vive la vita di tutti.» egli sa che nella propria vita c'è sempre qualcosa di unico da preservare e custodire. E' inevitabile che in questo percorso, il poeta sia autoreferenziale. Questa introduzione all'umile e breve volumetto, composto di venti testi di canzoni, di venti testi di poesie e di dieci favole, termina qui. Come sempre ringraziamo tutti coloro, artisti e tecnocrati della canzone e della poesia che ci hanno fatto riflettere un poco in più sulle differenze esistenti tra le due espressioni letterarie, musicali e artistiche. Ebbene, ciò che ci fa contenti, è che, anche questo nuovo lavoro ci è stato da mezzo per imparare a scrivere meglio e a descrivere idee, emozioni e sensibilità ancora in evoluzione, e tutto grazie e sempre grazie, ai tanti poeti, autori, e artisti ai quali ci siamo ispirati, che ci hanno dato la forza di continuare e di ri - continuare come sempre e speriamo ancora per sempre.
