Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2017 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Begabtenpädagogik, Note: 1,7, Universität Bielefeld (Fakultät für Erziehungswissenschaften), Veranstaltung: Pädagogik des Elementar- und Primarbereichs, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Um zu einer optimalen Förderung für hochbegabte Kinder zu gelangen, müssen zunächst einige Fragen geklärt werden. Es muss definiert werden, was der Begriff Hochbegabung meint, da dies die Grundlage für diagnostische Prozesse bildet. Außerdem muss geklärt werden, welche Möglichkeiten der Diagnostik und Identifizierung von Hochbegabung vorhanden sind, um hochbegabte Kinder bestimmen zu können. Schließlich ist es wichtig, verschiedene Möglichkeiten der Förderung von hochbegabten Kindern zu kennen, damit eine individuell auf das Kind ausgerichtete Förderung möglich wird. Diesen Fragen soll im Rahmen dieser Arbeit nachgegangen werden. Heterogenität ist ein Thema, das in Schule und Kindergarten zum Alltag gehört. Kinder sind unterschiedlich in ihrer Herkunft, ihrer Reife, ihren Interessen – und auch in ihren Begabungen. Hochbegabung ist ein Extrem, das auftreten kann. Etwa 2% aller Kinder können als kognitiv hochbegabt angenommen werden. Damit wird jede Lehrkraft und jeder Erzieher in seiner Berufslaufbahn mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit mit diesem Thema konfrontiert werden. Trotzdem wird Hochbegabung im Rahmen der Ausbildung höchstens am Rande thematisiert. Im ersten Abschnitt soll zunächst geklärt werden, wie Hochbegabung definiert wird und welche Formen der Hochbegabung es gibt. Der nächste Abschnitt beschäftigt sich dann mit der Identifizierung von hochbegabten Kindern in der Schule und im Kindergarten. Dazu werden zuerst einige beobachtbare Hinweise auf eine Hochbegabung benannt und dann wird das Thema Underachievement näher beleuchtet, da es hier besonders schwierig ist, eine Hochbegabung festzustellen. Außerdem wird auf die Diagnostik bei Hochbegabung eingegangen. Das nächste Kapitel erläutert dann Fördermöglichkeiten bei Hochbegabung im Allgemeinen und bei Underachievement im Speziellen. Den Abschluss der Arbeit bildet ein Fazit, indem noch einmal auf Schwierigkeiten und Besonderheiten bei der Identifizierung und Förderung von Hochbegabten eingegangen werden soll.

Die vorliegende Diplomarbeit befasst sich intensiv mit der F rderung hochbegabter Kinder in Kindertagesst tten und Grundschulen der Bundesrepublik. Dabei soll zun chst durch eine Ph nomenbestimmung der abstrakte Begriff Hochbegabung" genauer dargelegt werden., um einen umfassenden Einstieg in die Thematik zu erm glichen. Nach der Ph nomenbestimmung r ckt der Blickpunkt hin zum praktischen Alltag. Einschl gige F rderma nahmen f r hochbegabte Kinder, wie z.B. das vorschulische Lesenlernen oder das berspringen in der Grundschule, werden aus verschiedenen Gesichtspunkten erl utert. Vor- und Nachteile, sowohl f r betroffene Kinder, als auch f r P dagogen, werden dabei abgewogen. Daraufhin erfolgt eine genaue Untersuchung bez glich der aktuellen Gegebenheiten, die hochbegabte Kinder und ihre Erzieher / Lehrer in einschl gigen Bildungseinrichtungen der Bundesrepublik vorfinden. Mit einer von der Autorin durchgef hrten Studie an Kindertagesst tten und Grundschulen innerhalb der Bundesrepublik wird die aktuelle Situation hochbegabter Kinder in deutschen Bildungseinrichtungen durchleuchtet. Zuletzt werden dann in dieser Diplomarbeit bildungspolitische F rderma nahmen der Bundesrepublik mit den F rderma nahmen auf internationaler Ebene verglichen. Grundlage hierzu dient die Plazierung deutscher Sch ler bei internationalen intellektuellen Leistungswettbewerben. Zusammenfassend kann dann im Endresumee ein berblick ber die aktuelle Situation

Carey begins by characterizing the innate starting point for conceptual development, namely systems of core cognition. General estimations propose that 3-5% of the child population worldwide shows different degrees of giftedness for performing of outstanding talents. Giftedness is thought to represent an advantage for social adaptation due to the higher intellectual capabilities over average people. However, several studies show that eminent adults are significantly less than gifted children, suggesting that a great number of talented children are lost. On the other hand, gifted children often show several psychosocial abnormalities such as social isolation (which likely leads to eventual depressive disorders), aggressive behavior (commonly related to incomprehension by close relatives), bullying and a varying degrees of academic performance among other stressors related with scholarly life. Giftedness is frequently confused with some psychopathological alterations; the subsequent medication is a clinical action with unpredictable consequences that may affect the outstanding talents and general mental health of gifted children. These and other biopsychosocial factors make gifted children (and adults) a vulnerable social group. Thus, based on the relatively scarce scientific literature related to giftedness, the content of this book aims to integrate the factors of some of the neurobiological, psychological, social, and educational aspects related to giftedness into common knowledge, and it may also be useful for professionals dedicated to the scientific study and clinical or educational attention of gifted children.
