Buku yang ada dihadapan pembaca ini, hendak mengupas fenomena perceraian dalam aspek keterlibatan orang tua yang mengintervensi keputusan dalam keluarga anak. Penulis berusaha menemukan jawaban atas setidaknya dua pertanyaan kunci. Pertama, bagaimana pendapat ulama Palangka Raya terhadap hukum mertua yang memaksa anaknya untuk bercerai dengan menantunya? Kedua, apa dasar hukum dari pendapat ulama Palangka Raya terhadap hukum mertua yang memaksa anaknya untuk bercerai dengan menantunya? Berangkat dari diskursus atas keterlibatan intervensi orang tua atas prahara rumah tangga anaknya ini, semoga dapat menjadi pengayaan wacana ilmiah dalam ilmu kesyari’ahan, khususnya dalam bidang Hukum Keluarga yang salah satunya adalah dibidang munakahat. Khususnya dalam masalah perceraian. Selain itu, penulis berharap agar buku ini dapat menjadi salah satu referensi penting, untuk berbagai kalangan yang tertarik mengkaji lebih jauh terkait dengan problem rumah tangga yang krusial, yaitu perceraian.
