I had mastered the street life, hood life, and a few other things that I will share later in this book, but I was tired. For once in my life, I was really ready and confident to sell out against everything I once knew for a new mind and a new lifestyle. I didn't understand the struggle I had to endure, the hatred I had to face, the betrayal I would experience, and all the internal battles I went through that nobody knew about but me. I was under attack from the moment I was conceived, and although God had a plan for my life, so did the enemy. God wanted to lead me into an abundant life, but the Satan wanted me to live a life less than I deserved. He was intimidated by me before I could even walk or talk. However, what I thought was happening against me, God was preparing to use it for me. My yes had a cost before and after receiving him in my life.
