Innovation in public procurement is essential for sustainable and inclusive growth in an increasingly globalized economy. To achieve that potential, both the promises and the perils of innovation must be investigated, including the risks and opportunities of joint procurement across borders in the European Union and the United States. This in-depth research investigates innovation in public procurement from three different perspectives. First, leading academics and practitioners assess the purchase of innovation, with a particular focus on urban public contracting in smart cities involving meta-infrastructures, public-private partnership arrangements and smart contracts. This book presents the results of extensive international comparative research into the effects of the economic and financial crisis on democratic institutions and social cohesion policies. La gestione ambientale, nell’ambito dell’assistenza sanitaria ha un impatto di rilievo ma è diffusamente considerata e gestita essenzialmente per l’aspetto correlato alla gestione dei rifiuti sanitari pericolosi a rischio infettivo e poco più. Segue una dettagliata disamina e conseguenti indicazioni per una corretta gestione amministrativa dei rifiuti anche tramite SISTRI. Completano il quadro i capitoli di analisi sulle responsabilità gestionali, sull’impatto del D.Lgs. n. 231/2001 sulle aziende sanitarie e sulla disciplina sanzionatoria.
