Naifah, a little girl, wrote this book about the much talked-about topic of bullying. These days, bullying is such a serious issue that it even touched the heart of Naifah at her young age. She learned about bullying from the media, her school and her friends and felt the gravity of the issue. With her honest and keen imagination, Naifah depicted the sad story of Lilly, a little girl who was bullied by fellow schoolmates and became very sick. Naifah showed how Max and some other bullies realized they were being mean and promised not to bully again. I am sure your child will have fun and learn a good life lesson from this book.A Mom read this book and wrote: "Can't wait to have my son read this".I've read this book and liked the story was easy to read and straight to the point. My son hangs around a bully. And got caught for following that bad behavior. I've tried talking to him to stay away from him or to be the one to say STOP, stand up for the one being bullied or to tell someone. Unfortunately his father is not on the same page as me. I am hoping this book will help! Thank you Naifah for writing such a book.Another reader wrote: A must read! This story is written by a child for other children about friendship and a problem so many of our little ones are facing each day, bullying. This story would pair well some much needed home conversations about what is happening when our children are out of the reach of our eyes, ears, and loving arms. Talk to your children today and often about what is going on around them and consider creating your own family action plan.

Justice is a seven-year-old, who likes pizza and video games, but doesn’t like when people are mean. When a bully takes aim at Justice, over and over again, the impact takes its toll — inside and out. At last, Justice has had enough. Tired of being hurt and crying and hiding out in the closet, Justice decides to take a stance against the bully. BULLYING: IT HURTS tackles both sides of the bullying equation. Readers—both children and their parents—will learn to recognize bullying, not to be afraid of it, and how to be assertive in response. This simple story will help them to appreciate the value of feeling empowered in the earliest encounters with such behaviour. At last, the message is clear: Bullying is not OK, and we must stand up for ourselves.

Bullying has long been tolerated as a rite of passage among children and adolescents. There is an implication that individuals who are bullied must have "asked for" this type of treatment, or deserved it. Sometimes, even the child who is bullied begins to internalize this idea. For many years, there has been a general acceptance and collective shrug when it comes to a child or adolescent with greater social capital or power pushing around a child perceived as subordinate. But bullying is not developmentally appropriate; it should not be considered a normal part of the typical social grouping that occurs throughout a child's life. Although bullying behavior endures through generations, the milieu is changing. Historically, bulling has occurred at school, the physical setting in which most of childhood is centered and the primary source for peer group formation. In recent years, however, the physical setting is not the only place bullying is occurring. Technology allows for an entirely new type of digital electronic aggression, cyberbullying, which takes place through chat rooms, instant messaging, social media, and other forms of digital electronic communication. Composition of peer groups, shifting demographics, changing societal norms, and modern technology are contextual factors that must be considered to understand and effectively react to bullying in the United States. Youth are embedded in multiple contexts and each of these contexts interacts with individual characteristics of youth in ways that either exacerbate or attenuate the association between these individual characteristics and bullying perpetration or victimization. Recognizing that bullying behavior is a major public health problem that demands the concerted and coordinated time and attention of parents, educators and school administrators, health care providers, policy makers, families, and others concerned with the care of children, this report evaluates the state of the science on biological and psychosocial consequences of peer victimization and the risk and protective factors that either increase or decrease peer victimization behavior and consequences.

"How To Stop Bullying". (Overcome Bullying & Cyber-Bullying in 10 steps.) Volume 10. Awaken The Flow Books. Be free from bullying and cyber-bullying. Overcome bullying and take back your life, regardless of how long you've been in a bullying situation. Transform your life with these simple, practical, everyday ideas for: staying safe, how to stop the bullying, what if the bullying doesn't stop, what if there's nobody to help you, holistic ideas, and how to deal with cyber-bullies and on-line Trolls. Part 1 of this book contains general information about bullying, Part 2 contains the 10-steps, and Part 3 contains some examples and exercises. Bullying is about power and control, and it's a form of abuse. A bully feels good when you feel bad, and that's how the bully "feeds" on your power. My personal background is in counseling, healing and sports, so this book includes a positive and holistic approach to overcome bullying so that you remain in your own power, hold the bully accountable, and at the same time, STOP feeding the bully or the Troll. For some people, simply being AWARE of your inner help is the missing ingredient to a better life, and this can be that "extra" something that helps you to overcome bullying more easily. This great book will help you to "shut the door" on bullying, so that you can take back your power, take back your life, and overcome bullying for once and for all. Suzi's Quote: "At some point, you need to say Enough. There comes a time when you need to draw a line in the sand and say: "No More". That's when you take back your power". Book Review: "It's hard to know what to do next with bullying situations, for yourself or to help others. This book gave me some clear and calming steps to follow". (HJ, 2019) Suzi's Biography: Hi, I'm Suzi Obelisk. My book series is "Awaken The Flow Books". My books help you to have a better life. My books are written in an easy conversational style so that they're easy to read. I have a background in counseling, healing, sports, and music. I write holistic self-help books because I've found that if you want that "edge" to help you to achieve better results in life, whether that's with sports or with recovery from life problems, then you need a balanced and holistic approach in order to be successful. This book is different because I personally experienced being bullied and cyber-bullied in my past, but I learned how to overcome it. This book contains the same techniques that helped me, so I know for sure that they work. Actually, this book was created because of bullying in my past, so this book is a beautiful example of how to make lemonade out of the lemons in life. Isn't that neat? Now I'm happy again, my life has purpose, I'm living my normal life again, and I'm back to being me. It's my sincere intent that this book gives you hope, inspiration, comfort, and the techniques to help you to overcome bullying so that you can be free again. ... Adult Bullying written by Peter Randall and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2003-09-02 with Psychology categories.

The frequency and severity of personal harrassment is a problem that is only just beginning to be uncovered. In Adult Bullying, psychologist Peter Randall uses the voices of both bullies and victims to reveal the misery that many adults endure. He describes the processes that turn child bullies into adult bullies, often aware of their behaviour but unable to stop it. The workplace and the neighbourhood replace the playground, but the tactics and patterns of reward remain the same. The adult victim has little or no more power than the child counterpart, often changing jobs to escape the attentions of the bully. Similarly, managers like teachers, often fail to tackle the complaints of the victim with the seriousness the problem deserves, preferring to believe that the fuss is unwarranted. Adult Bullying will be welcomed by managers, counsellors, social workers and anyone who has experienced personal harrassment. Effective ways to deal with bullying in the community and the workplace are discussed, with particular attention given to the implications for managers and employees.

Cherie White shares her own story of what were the worst six years of her life, during which she was relentlessly bullied after moving to a small Tennessee town. She describes the heartache, loneliness and despair she felt as a victim of school bullying and how her cries for help went ignored. She is brutally honest about how she viewed her bullies and the bystanders who watched but did nothing to help. She is also candid about how she too became a bully and the torment she inflicted on her own victims, whom she herself viewed as inferior, as a means to preserve what little self-esteem she had left and feel better about herself. Finally, she tells of how she was able to escape her tormentors by changing schools, make several new friends out of her new classmates, and go from victim to victor! "From Victim to Victor" is a story of survival, trial, heartache, self-discovery, reflection, growth and the eventual escape and triumph.
