Im ersten Teil des Buches wird die Familienbiografie über drei Generationen erzählt. Im zweiten Teil reflektiert Anna als junge Erwachsene mehr und mehr die Familiensituation und ihre eigene Rolle im Leben. Sie erkennt, dass auch in ihrer Familie Traumata transgenerational weitergegeben wurden. Im dritten Teil geht es um ein tieferes Verständnis und um Heilung. Die fachliche Perspektive und Bewältigungsmöglichkeiten bekommen mehr Raum. Ein erzählendes Sachbuch – authentisch aus der Perspektive einer Kriegsenkelin und Diplom-Psychologin geschildert.
