Beginning around the 4th Century, the Christian church accelerated its downhill slide into apostasy. Today the Christian church is nothing at all what we read about in the Book of Acts, and that is because it has set aside Jesus' teachings to follow the teachings of Paul. Jesus said he said he is to be our only teacher, we are to keep his words for eternal life, by his words we will be judged, and he said he will be our judge, and then he also gave us the standard by which we will be judged. Yet the Christian Church has turned a blind eye to that, they don't follow Jesus, or obey him, even though Jesus said he spoke Yahoveh's words with His authority. The Christian church has forsaken Jesus, while they pay him lip service and claim to love him, but they follow another, named Paul. The Christian Church uses Paul's writing to create their doctrines which are not compatible with Jesus' words.
