Think Different written by Andreas Boskugel and has been published by First Edition Design Pub. this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2015-03-25 with Self-Help categories.

Think! Different is a different kind of self-help book: the author, Andreas Boskugel, is well-known in Europe and appreciated for his clear and direct manner. Boskugel has taken the law of attraction to its systematic and logical conclusion! This book is completely free of otherwise typical references to moral or religious "standards" because the law of attraction – like all natural laws – isn't based on morality or religion. Consequently the author has a very different take than do others on success; for example, he doesn't idolize hard work, honesty and gratitude ad absurdum, for these are only religious and cultural based opinions and actually contradict the law of attraction. The author also forgoes otherwise typical teachings about what is right or wrong; after all, what is "right" is individually defined. Feigned pity or morality sermons are also not included in this work. This work is for those who love the integrity of the law of attraction and prefer clarity over political correctness. And it's for those who really want to get somewhere in life and who therefore question existing opinions. It's for people who are able to think on their own instead of going with the flow. For many, it was not until reading this book that they finally understood the law of attraction, for the topics in this book are more logically organized than in other popular works, and insights are offered that can dramatically improve the lives of readers. Completely new insights about the existing laws of life can help readers become invincible masters of their own destiny. Supply Chain Planning written by Hans-Otto Günther and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009-03-05 with Business & Economics categories.

In recent years, supply chain planning has emerged as one of the most challenging problems in the industry. As a consequence, the planning focus is shifting from the management of plant-speci?c operations to a holistic view of the various logistics and productionstages, that is an approach in which suppliers, productionplants and customers are considered as constituents of an integrated network. A major dr- ing force behind this development lies in the globalization of the world economy, which has facilitated the co-operation between different partners working together in world-wide logistics networks. Hence, considerable cost savings can be gained from optimizing the structure and the operations of complex supply networks li- ing plants, suppliers, distribution centres and customers. Consequently, to improve the performance of the entire logistic chain, more sophisticated planning systems and more effective decision support are needed. Clearly, successful applications of supply chain management have driven the development of advanced planning systems (APS), which are concerned with s- porting decision-making activities at the strategic, tactical and operational decision level. These software packages basically rely on the application of quantitative methods, which are used to model the underlying complex decision problems c- sidering the limited availability of resources and the need to react on time to customer orders. The core module at the mid-term level of APS comprises op- ational supply chain planning. In many industries, productionstages are assigned to differentplantsand distribution centreshave been established at geographicallyd- persed locations.

The Church In The Wilderness written by Carla Swafford Works and has been published by Mohr Siebeck this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014 with Bible categories.

Much attention has been devoted to Paul's quotations from the Old Testament, but little attention has been given to Paul's use of biblical narratives. The most extensive use of scripture in 1 Corinthians involves an allusion to Israel's exodus (10:1-22), which contains only one quotation (1 Cor 10:7). Since there is much debate on how to identify scriptural allusions, Carla Works examines two passages where there is overwhelming scholarly consensus regarding the presence of exodus imagery: 1 Corinthians 5:6-8 and 10:1-22. These passages, therefore, provide an ideal place to consider how Paul is using Israel's exodus traditions to instruct a predominantly non-Jewish congregation. The author argues that the exodus tradition, a tradition used to bolster Israel's identity and to teach Israel about the identity of God, is reinterpreted by Paul in light of Christ and is employed to foster the identity formation of the Corinthians as the church of "one God and one Lord" (1 Cor 8:6).

Manage For Profit Not For Market Share written by Hermann Simon and has been published by Harvard Business Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2006 with Business & Economics categories.

How do companies in mature markets--where savings from cost-cutting have been exhausted and breakthrough innovations are hard to come by--achieve sustainable increases in profits? For decades, managers have been told the answer lies in pursuing high market share. But Hermann Simon, Frank F. Bilstein, and Frank Luby argue that this misguided advice has destroyed, rather than created, an additional profit potential. In Manage for Profit, Not for Share, the authors contend that companies can extract a profit potential of 1%-3 % of revenue by pursuing a profit, rather than a market share, orientation. Based on their extensive consulting work, the authors lay out a practical, proven program for making significantly more money by reconfiguring the marketing mix to sell existing products and services in different ways. The book offers practical strategies managers can use to differentiate mature products, raise prices effectively, time promotional activities properly, better understand consumer preferences, and more. A convincing counterargument to the reigning market share dogma, this book outlines the new mind-set and tools managers will need to bring their companies closer to peak profit performance.

We are often told that we are "living in an information society" or that we are "information workers." But what exactly do these claims mean, and how might they be verified? In this important methodological study, Alistair S. Duff cuts through the rhetoric to get to the bottom of the "information society thesis." Wide-ranging in coverage, this study will be of interest to scholars in information science, communication and media studies and social theory. It is a key text for the newly-unified specialism of information society studies, and an indispensable guide to the future of this discipline.

Script and writing were among the most important inventions in human history, and until the invention of printing, the handwritten book was the primary medium of literary and cultural transmission. Although the study of manuscripts is already quite advanced for many regions of the world, no unified discipline of ‘manuscript studies’ has yet evolved which is capable of treating handwritten books from East Asia, India and the Islamic world equally alongside the European manuscript tradition. This book, which aims to begin the interdisciplinary dialogue needed to arrive at a truly systematic and comparative approach to manuscript cultures worldwide, brings together papers by leading researchers concerned with material, philological and cultural aspects of different manuscript traditions.
