Questo libro nasce dopo una lunga estate , quella del duemila e ventitré . Viaggiando da solo per luoghi incantevoli e selvaggi , verseggiando , rincorrendo un amore banale, bagnato dall’acque del mare tirreno. Non tutti i sogni , sono favole e non tutte le favole sanno volare. La libertà è un utopia. Un lungo respiro cosmico , dove la comicità prende atto di essere un veicolo d’incontro tra l’umano ed il divino. Ciò che c’è di tragico nelle favole e nella poesia ,risiede nell’essere noi stessi , il desiderare di essere diversi. Siamo noi passione , amicizia, siamo amore al pari di nostro signore. E questo conflitto interiore tra bene e male, umano e divino , genera altri mondi , tramite la nostra immaginazione. Dimensione oscura ove spesso il demonio “il male” si manifesta in noi . Egli si rivela nella sua veste di personaggio di serpe o pipistrello, di porco o di orco , di orso o di bestemmia poiché la bestia vive in noi . Emerge dal nostro vissuto e dal nostro essere creature timorate di Dio. Il diavolo delle favole , questo è il titolo di questo e-book è composto da setta cinque componimenti poetici e brevi racconti . Segue idealmente la discesa di Orfeo con la sua musica nell’ Ade per riportare indietro l’amata Euridice e successivamente la discesa di Ulisse “odisseo” nel regno dei morti per conoscere tramite Tiresia il proseguo del viaggio. Fino alla discesa nell’Averno di Enea negli inferi alla ricerca del padre Anchise. Nell’immortale viaggio di padre Dante insieme al vate Virgilio nel regno dei morti, che lo condurrà in paradiso per rivelare meglio il verbo fattosi carne ed incontrare Dio con l’aiuto di Beatrice. Questo libro mi ricorda tanto una stagione all’ inferno del poeta Rimbaud . Io qui in questo mio ultimo lavoro letterario provo a raccontare tramite il verso libero la mia dimensione spirituale di uomo qualunque per giungere ad una salvezza ad una rivelazione . Racconti , poesie. I versi si sommano nel viaggio, mi portano lontano , verso un principio ed una fine , verso un mondo ultraterreno. Attraverso il bene ed il male , parte integrante del nostro vivere e creare. Rivelano me stesso , le mie passioni , le mie debolezze , la mia voglia di credere, aldilà del bene e del male ad un amore prima fattosi carne poi spirito.

'Telesio and Morato on the Meaning of Colours' brings together the original texts with original English translations of two closely related primary sources on Renaissance colour symbolism. The first is the 'Libellus de coloribus' (Booklet on colours), the most extensive lexicon of colour terminology of its time, published in Venice in 1528 by Antonio Telesio (1482-1534), who latinised his name as Antonius Thylesius. The second is 'Del significato de' colori' (On the signification of colours), the most extensive digest of current and classical colour meanings of its time, published in Venice in 1535 by Fulvio Pellegrino Morato (c. 1483-1548). They were the third and fourth books on colour to be printed in Europe. Roy Osborne is an artist, educator and historian, and author of books on colour. He was awarded the Turner Medal of the Colour Group (Great Britain) in 2003, and the Colour in Art, Design and Environment Medal of the International Colour Association in 2019.
