«Chi sono gli angeli? Non le misteriose entità di alcune religioni, la cristiana in primis, ma la metafora, di schietta impronta romantica, degli “esclusi”, dei “solitari”, dei “selvaggi”, degli “eterni bambini” (tutti termini usati da Fusi). Angeli affetti dal “morbo”. Anche la malattia è tema schiettamente romantico e decadente. Malattia, morte, negativo, sono stati esplorati a fondo e declinati in mille modi dalla cultura degli ultimi due secoli. Fusi si inserisce in modo personale e creativo in questa tradizione, affinché resti viva e vitale, arricchita da sempre nuove esperienze storiche ed esistenziali. Ma quale “morbo”? Il morbo della “distanza”.» Luciano Fusi è nato a Pontedera il 12 giugno 1956, attualmente risiede a Ponsacco (Pisa). Ha iniziato a scrivere poesie sul finire degli anni Settanta, da autodidatta, continuando poi un suo personale percorso di ricerca linguistica, anche attraverso l’incontro con professori universitari (come Silvio Guarnieri) ed altre figure di rilievo del mondo della letteratura. Ha collaborato con diverse riviste letterarie, iniziando poi a pubblicare alcune sue opere e ottenendo importanti riconoscimenti. È stato anche regista e attore, dedicandosi a temi importanti come la vita, la morte, il disagio psichico e la difficoltà del vivere quotidiano e nel 1997 ha fondato l’Associazione Culturale e teatrale “Il Teatro di Campana”. Tra le sue pubblicazioni ricordiamo: Rivolte di passione (1986), Nuovi idilli (III quaderno della rivista letteraria «Ghibli», per cui è stato nel 1986 responsabile organizzativo, 1992); Il corpo del luogo (1996) con prefazione di Giorgio Barberi Squarotti; Nonostante voi (2000), un testo teatrale; Nel ricordo d’antico Sogno (2002), dedicato ai dipinti di Antonio Possenti su Arthur Rimbaud; Immagini di scrittura, trenta poesie a Ernesto Che Guevara, (2007), La stanza di Haar (2009); Dal genio al genio (2012), flusso di incoscienza per Carmelo Bene e, infine, Atomo (2016).
