La canzone più celebre di Bob Dylan fu pubblicata nel 1963 sul suo secondo album, "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan". Tra il mélo processuale di Philadelphia e commedie thriller comeQualcosa di travolgente e Una vedova allegra... ma non troppo, passando per il carcerario al femminile (Femmine in gabbia), l’omaggio a Hitchcock (Il segno degli Hannan) e alla Nouvelle Vague (The Truth About Charlie). E in mezzo uno dei più bei film-concerto di sempre (Stop Making Sense) e documentari che diventano invece viaggi intimisti.
