This book is about the human nature of Christ. Specifically about the moral or spiritual inheritance through His mother Mary—whether He took man’s nature like that of Adam before the Fall (prelapsarian) or like after the Fall (postlapsarian). These two seemingly, mutually-exclusive, versions of Christ have been a very controversial subject in Adventism for some sixty plus years (May 2015). Many have grown weary of the subject, and some have concluded that “it doesn’t really matter.” It is the purpose of this present book to develop more fully the concept of our new birth experience as a springboard to provide a framework of Christ’s nature that embraces all of the Scripture and Spirit of Prophecy statements on His humanity—the one true Christ. It will be found that both positions—pre-Fall and post-Fall—contain essential components to the complete picture. Spiritual truth is arrived at by harmonizing all of the inspired statements on a given subject. Through that method we have arrived at our commonly held beliefs—Saturday sacredness, state of the dead, second coming of Christ, etc. This can also be true regarding Christ’s humanity—regarding the true Christ. Knowing the complete attributes of the true Christ will add strength and credibility to the true gospel. We can then lay down our disputes among us and unite in promoting the “one Lord, one faith, and one baptism” so essential to the finishing of the Lord’s work in our hearts and on the earth. There are important Biblical truths overlooked by much of Christianity. The Devil would have it so, and, unfortunately, our naturally sinful hearts find it attractively so. We prefer to be saved in our sins rather than from our sins. The term Gospel is in reference to the salvation of fallen mankind in Christ’s future, eternal kingdom of peace. Tragically, great differences in understanding of the Gospel is a major reason for the multitude of differing Christian faiths. The Bible speaks of “One Lord, one faith, one baptism.” (Ephesians 4:5). Jesus Christ made the claim: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6). Thus, the Scriptures teach that there is only One True Way to the heavenly Father, only One True Gospel—the Man Christ Jesus. When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden—embedding the trait of selfishness in humanity’s heart—Christ promised them that He would come to earth to take their punishment, and to crush their deceiver Satan’s head. As a perpetual reminder, Christ gave them the sacrificial system. They were to confess their sins over the head of an innocent lamb and then to slay it; symbolizing Christ’s future death on the cross for the sins of man. When the children of Israel were delivered from slavery in Egypt, Christ gave them a much more complete explanation of the various steps in the salvation process. In the earthly sanctuary and its services—a pattern of the true sanctuary in heaven—He gave a much clearer explanation of the salvation process as to how, when, and where the various steps occur in reality. For some 1500 years Christ worked with the children of Israel in an attempt to lead them, in their tabernacle/temple services to depict to the world the gospel of salvation through the coming Messiah. Unfortunately, Satan succeeded in blinding their eyes to the truths of their own religious services, to the degree, that they rejected and nailed to a Roman cross the long-looked-for perfect Lamb of God. Unfortunately still today, many of Christ’s followers are failing to appreciate the important truths of the gospel as depicted for so many centuries in the priestly services of the earthly tabernacle and temples of Israel. We are tending to ignore the New Testament teachings regarding Christ’s High Priestly ministry in the true tabernacle of heaven (see Hebrews chapters 3-10). We tend to not appreciate the important prophecy of Daniel 8:14: “And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.” (Daniel 8:14). The dominant Christian faith of the Dark Ages has side-tracked our attention to a still earthly priesthood with the claim to forgive sin. For these and other reasons, Satan is again succeeding to a great degree in blinding Christ’s followers to the great truths of the sanctuary services, now going on in heaven. Through failure to understand as to the how, when, and where Christ is working to save repentant men and women from sin, rather than in sin, many will fail to be benefitted by His death on the cross so many years ago. It is the purpose of this publication to search for clarity as to what is the One True Gospel. It has found that a comprehension of Christ’s role as Surety, as the Lamb of God, and as the Mediator-High Priest of the human race goes far in achieving that goal. “We need . . . much more knowledge in regard to the plan of salvation. There is not one in one hundred who understands for himself the Bible truth on this subject that is so necessary to our present and eternal welfare. This book is the result of my personal life long search for the true Christ, and my search for true history, in general. The results of my efforts led me to discover what I believe was and is the True Christ, based partly on hidden lore from 1st century Britain and Ireland. The true Christ was and is so different than the one which began emerging as soon as His time on earth ended, as to be astonishing. Jesus was a person to be born and to die at a certain time and place, and to live and to achieve certain Missions, some which had their origins hundreds and even thousands of years before His birth. This book shows what a human story was the Christ story, and also of the very advanced terrestrial astronomy He had to have been trained in as a Mithra Master which He was. He came from a Pagan world of Astro religion not a Jewish one as portrayed. And, His message was not a Jewish one at all, but a one of the new Freedom from the Old Covenant of Abraham and the Old Law of Moses, now Sharia Law, for tolerance and forgiveness instead. Also, he always said He was the 'son of man' and Never said He was God or the 'son of god'! Time for the True Christ!

Few people were ever more sincere than I in trying--without success--to find meaning, truth and purpose to life. But at the university I noticed a small group of people--eight students and two faculty members--with something different. They seemed to know what they believed and why. I wanted what I saw. Two weeks later, while I was sitting with some of them at a table in the student union, the conversation began to center on God. That bothered me, because I thought it was not intellectual. And yet I was curious. Leaning back in my chair, I said to one of the students, "Tell me, what has made you so different from others?" She looked me in the eye with a little smile and said: "Jesus Christ!" My response revealed my bias and my ignorance. "Oh, for heaven's sake," I said, "don't give me that garbage about religion!" To which she replied: "I didn't say religion. I said Jesus Christ!" My new friends challenged me to examine the claims of Christ. I thought most Christians were idiots. But these people were persistent. Finally, I accepted their challenge, out of pride, to refute them. One of the crucial areas of my research to refute Christianity centered around His resurrection. More than 1,000 hours of studying this subject showed me that the resurrection of Jesus Christ was either one of the most wicked, heartless, vicious hoaxes ever foisted upon human minds, or it was the most fantastic fact of history. Jesus of Nazareth, a Jewish prophet, claimed to be the Christ prophesied in the Jewish Scriptures. He was arrested, judged a political criminal, and crucified. Three days after His death and burial, some women went to His tomb and found the body gone. His disciples claimed that God had raised Him from the dead and that He had appeared to them and to many others at various times before ascending into heaven. In my attempt to refute Christianity, I made some startling observations about the resurrection. The testimony of history, for example. I had no idea there was so much positive historical, literary and legal testimony supporting the factuality of Christ's resurrection. But the more I investigated, the more evidence I found. I came to see why the Apostle Paul had said, "If Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith" (1 Corinthians 15:14). Jesus' foretelling of His resurrection was another of my startling observations. Prior to Jesus' death, He took His disciples aside and told them that He would be condemned to death and handed over to the Romans who would mock Him and spit on Him, flog Him and kill Him. And three days later He would rise from the dead (Mark 10:33-34). The more I studied the historical-biblical Christian faith the more I realized it is a thinking person's faith. As Jesus said, "You will know the truth and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32). But alongside the scholarly evidence for the resurrection, there is circumstantial evidence--what happened to me. Having set out to refute the resurrection and Christianity, and then having been compelled by the evidence to believe that Jesus Christ was indeed exactly who He claimed to be--and that He indeed rose from the dead, I faced a new problem. My mind was saying, "Christianity is true," but my will was saying, "Don't admit it!" It came to the point where I'd go to bed at ten and wouldn't fall asleep until four in the morning. I knew I had to get Jesus off my mind or go out of my mind. Finally on December 19, 1959, at 8:30 p.m., I became a Christian. I prayed four things that night, to establish a relationship with the resurrected, living Christ who has since transformed my life. First, I said, "Lord Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross for me." Second, I said, "I confess those things in my life that are not pleasing to You. I ask You to forgive and cleanse me." (The Bible says, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow" (Isaiah 1:18).) Third, I said, "Right now, in the best way I know how, I open the door of my heart and life, and I trust You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for coming into my life by faith." After I prayed, nothing happened. There was no bolt of lightning. I even said to myself, "Oh, no! What'd I get sucked into now?" I felt I'd gone off the deep end. And some of my friends agreed. But I can tell you now that in six months to a year-and-a-half I found that I had not gone off the deep end. Later, in a debate with the head of the history department of a midwestern university, I said that my life had been changed. My opponent interrupted me to say, "McDowell, are you trying to tell us that God changed your life in the twentieth century?" After 45 minutes of my describing changes, he said, "Okay, that's enough." One area I told him about was the mental peace I had finally found. Another was control of my temper. And old hatreds gradually turning to love. You can laugh at Christianity; you can mock and ridicule it. But it changes lives. Christianity is not something that can be forced on anyone. All I can do is tell what I've learned. Beyond that, it's your decision. Christ was raised from the dead. He lives. He has the infinite capacity to enter your life, forgive you, and change you from the inside out. This book is the result of my personal life long rejection of the conventional story of Christ, from as early as age 12, and my search for true history, in general. The results of my efforts, led me to discover what I believe was and is the True Christ, the basis of this book, one in my series of books. My sources include the extensive Cycles or Stories of 'Cuhuillone' and the lore of 'Deidre, the Woman of Sorrow'. Both are found today in Ireland. The hero 'Cuhuillone' ('the Hound Companion of God') was Jesus, and the young Deidre a.k.a Mary, was His mother. These two spent a great portion of their lives not in Israel, but in Roman controlled Cambria, Britain. Post the 60s A.D. the Roman military, after the death of Emperor Nero, the last of the original Caesars, methodically and violently destroyed Cambria Britain, forcing surviving Nesseans with their bards and their lore, to flee to their kingdom of Ulster, in northern Ireland. The true Christ was and is so different than the one which began emerging as soon as His time on earth ended, as to be astonishing. Pagan Jesus was a person to be born and to die at a certain time and place, and to live and to achieve certain missions, all of which had their origins hundreds and even thousands of years before His birth. That 'time of His birth'....was correctly affixed by Dennis the Isaurian, the Pagan astronomer and historian employed by the Catholic Church in the 6th C.A.D. to do so....based on the birth time not of the infant killed on orders of King Herod in the year 7 B.C., but by the correct birth time of Jesus. This book shows what a human story was the Christ story, and of the very advanced terrestrial astronomy of the Pagan world, from which Jesus really came from.

Western history would be unrecognizable had it not been for people who believed in One True God. There would have been wars, but no religious wars. There would have been moral codes, but no Commandments.
