Volume 2 of the two-volume set MMed 135: These volumes offer the first critical edition of the Chronique d’Ernoul and the so-called Colbert-Fontainebleau (or Acre) Continuation of William of Tyre in over 150 years. The material is accompanied by an extensive introduction, glossary and bibliography. These two thirteenth-century narratives recount the story of the crusades and the Latin East. Both are anonymous; both employed the French vernacular and both contain accounts that are essential for anyone studying the subject. The Chronique d’Ernoul was completed in the 1230s in northern France. The main part of the Colbert-Fontainebleau Continuation of William of Tyre dates to the late 1240s and is a reworking of Ernoul with material going up to 1277; it was composed in the Latin East.

La poesia dei trovatori occitani può essere letta secondo molte prospettive. Una di queste è quella sociologica, che fu impiegata, attorno alla metà del secolo scorso, dal grande romanista Erich Köhler per istituire una relazione tra le ragioni della fin’amor trobadorica e la conformazione della sua struttura ideologica. L’idea che sta alla base di questo studio è invece orientata a rideterminare il peso della struttura sociale entro la quale agiscono i poeti e i loro mecenati, indagando i diversi aspetti della società dei trovatori, intesi anzitutto come un gruppo sociale che si articola al suo interno mediante strutture reticolari. Nella convinzione che l’elemento socioculturale sia fondamentale per definire un fenomeno letterario nella sua interezza, le indagini qui proposte offrono un panorama rinnovato, fondato prima di tutto sull’analisi testuale e sulla considerazione del contesto storico, sociale e culturale in cui è pensabile la figura del trovatore.

L’Analisi Linguistica e Letteraria è una rivista internazionale di linguistica e letteratura peer reviewed. Ha una prospettiva sia sincronica che diacronica e accoglie ricerche di natura teorica e applicata. Seguendo un orientamento spiccatamente interdisciplinare, si propone di approfondire la comprensione dei processi di analisi testuale in ambito letterario come anche in ambito linguistico. La rivista è organizzata in tre sezioni: la prima contiene saggi e articoli; la seconda presenta discussioni e analisi d’opera relative alle scienze linguistiche e letterarie; la terza sezione ospita recensioni e una rassegna di brevi schede bibliografiche riguardanti la linguistica generale e le linguistiche delle singole lingue (francese, inglese, russo, tedesco). La rivista pubblica regolarmente articoli in francese, inglese, italiano e tedesco, e occasionalmente anche in altre lingue: nel 2010, ad esempio, ha pubblicato un volume tematico interamente in russo.
