A how-to guide for rekindling the fire of love for God and all things of God, this collection of stories, Bible quotes, and wisdom will help you bring healing, hope, and unity to your home. Life seems to move faster than ever these days. We get caught up in the minutia of our daily lives, the hustle and bustle, and we tend to forget the most important things, the things that sustain us and carry us in life. Of those, our life with Him, and His presence in our lives, is the most important and that gets overlooked or lost in the shuffle. Isn't now the perfect time that we all remember this and make a change for the better? A true letter from God filled with His unique words, Della M. Strickland's debut is a labor of love that came to her during in open heaven conference and has carried her through difficult times in her life. By sharing her sorrow and pain, she not only learns how to be truly blessed but is able to teach us all that we too may be blessed by hearing and following His words as well. He is calling us back to our first love and purpose as husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters. We are all children of God and it is in our nature to have him in our hearts, lives, language, and homes. And as in any real love, His love not only has hope, healing, correction, and a realness that can be applied to our modern lives, He provides real spiritual and economic steps in order to take in all He gives us and receive all that He has in store for each and every one of us. Teaching you to discover how an old thing can become new again, Strickland's vision of the degradation of the home life of modern mankind took three years to write and encompasses the entirety of the love letter He inspired her to write. A book about hope, love, realness, and unity, it teaches us how to eschew the distracting forces of modern living and instead find peace and harmony with ourselves with Him. Instructive for young and old alike, Inside Sarah's Tent, Birthing God's Blessings Inside Your Home: A Handbook of Hope for the Home is a blessing that will change your life for the better-starting today.

Since the history of the entire universe, statistics have proven that the problem of infertility has risen over the last two decades. We have many more couples with inabilities to have biological children of their own, with cases of miscarriages, fibroid, tumors, and complications in delivery. So the question has been what changed? The answer lies in the newly released book titled 'The Blessing of Sarah'. An expository book on what the fertility God has to say about empowerment for conception, full-time gestation period and safe delivery. The author goes beyond unravelling the simplistic notion about these problems confronting women and brings to light God's clever ways of addressing them, such that, if women can understand them, they could conceive their own biological children notwithstanding the limitations. It has got practical and powerful answers to many questions confronting women's conception, providing readers with scriptural analogies on how to handle the cases of barrenness, miscarriages, fibroid tumors in women and complications in delivery, including Bible-based prayers for reversing all that was not so from the beginning with the woman. The spiritual teachings of Israel’s biblical prophetesses from a kabbalistic perspective • Explores the lives and symbolic significance of seven female prophets: Sarah, Miriam, Devorah, Chanah, Avigail, Chuldah, and Esther • Uses the gematria of Jewish metaphysics to demonstrate that prophecy is a mystical initiatory path by which Divine Will is made known, not only a tool for telling the future • Presents practical applications of kabbalistic teachings for spiritual development The seven prophetesses of Israel--Sarah, Miriam, Devorah, Chanah, Avigail, Chuldah, and Esther--lived between 1800 and 350 BCE. Their combined lives reflect a kabbalistic path of spiritual evolution that is as pertinent to our lives today as it was for the biblical communities in which they lived. From her studies of the Torah and classical gematria, Zohara Hieronimus shows that each prophetess is linked to a Sefirah on the kabbalistic Tree of Life: from creation (Sarah) through learning correct moral action (Devorah) to the promise of redemption and ultimately resurrection (Esther). Using the stories of their lives and teachings, Hieronimus reveals the relationship of each prophetess to the seven days of the week, the seven sacred species of Israel, the human body, and Jewish holidays and rituals. This book presents the kabbalistic teachings of these holy women and what they reveal about the initiatory path of individual development and redemption. The seven prophetesses show that every person has a part to play in the repair of the world, and Hieronimus gives a practical set of maps and spiritual guidelines for that journey.

God S Babies written by John McKeown and has been published by Open Book Publishers this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-12-17 with Religion categories.

The human population's annual total consumption is not sustainable by one planet. This unprecedented situation calls for a reform of religious cultures that promote a large ideal family size. Many observers assume that Christianity is inevitably part of this problem because it promotes "family values" and statistically, in America and elsewhere, has a higher birthrate than nonreligious people. This book explores diverse ideas about human reproduction in the church past and present. It investigates an extreme fringe of U.S. Protestantism, including the Quiverfull movement, that use Old Testament "fruitful" verses to support natalist ideas explicitly promoting higher fecundity. It also challenges the claim by some natalists that Martin Luther in the 16th century advocated similar ideas. This book argues that natalism is inappropriate as a Christian application of Scripture, especially since rich populations’ total footprints are detrimental to biodiversity and to human welfare. It explores the ancient cultural context of the Bible verses quoted by natalists. Challenging the assumption that religion normally promotes fecundity, the book finds surprising exceptions among early Christians (with a special focus on Saint Augustine) since they advocated spiritual fecundity in preference to biological fecundity. Finally the book uses a hermeneutic lens derived from Genesis 1, and prioritising the modern problem of biodiversity, to provide ecological interpretations of the Bible's "fruitful" verses.

National Book Award Finalist: “This man’s ideas may be the most influential, not to say controversial, of the second half of the twentieth century.”—Columbus Dispatch At the heart of this classic, seminal book is Julian Jaynes's still-controversial thesis that human consciousness did not begin far back in animal evolution but instead is a learned process that came about only three thousand years ago and is still developing. The implications of this revolutionary scientific paradigm extend into virtually every aspect of our psychology, our history and culture, our religion—and indeed our future. “Don’t be put off by the academic title of Julian Jaynes’s The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind. Its prose is always lucid and often lyrical…he unfolds his case with the utmost intellectual rigor.”—The New York Times “When Julian Jaynes . . . speculates that until late in the twentieth millennium BC men had no consciousness but were automatically obeying the voices of the gods, we are astounded but compelled to follow this remarkable thesis.”—John Updike, The New Yorker “He is as startling as Freud was in The Interpretation of Dreams, and Jaynes is equally as adept at forcing a new view of known human behavior.”—American Journal of Psychiatry
