Esse manuscrito trata sobre a Legislação e forma de sustentabilidade e desenvolvimento socioeconômico na comunidade de Nossa Senhora do Livramento da Reserva de Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Tupé-Amazonas-Brasil. Diante disso, Objetivo geral consistiu em analisar as legislações das áreas protegidas para a inserção política e social na Comunidade de Nossa Senhora do Livramento localizada na Reserva de Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Tupé. Os objetivos específicos são: Elencar as principais legislações relacionadas a Reserva de Desenvolvimento Sustentável; Avaliar as legislações pertinentes as UCs e Manaus com a finalidade de compreender suas garantias legais; e Verificar a efetividade das políticas governamentais destinadas ao desenvolvimento social e ambiental na Reserva de Desenvolvimento Sustentável da Comunidade de Nossa Senhora do livramento do Tupé, em busca de evidenciar a qualidade de vida dessa população tradicional ribeirinha. A metodologia aplicada, para alcance dos objetivos propostos, constitui-se em utilizar os aportes da literatura e dados documentais com a finalidade de analisar as legislações das áreas protegidas para a inserção política e social da comunidade. Devido a necessidade dessa premissa os procedimentos adotados foram descritivos e explicativos. Em síntese, é possível afirmar que as UCs disponibilizam vantagens que ultrapassam suas fronteiras.
