Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich BWL - Controlling, Note: 1,3, Hochschule München, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Durch den Wandel der Wirtschaft und einige Wirtschaftskrisen hat das Controlling im Laufe der Zeit zunehmend an Bedeutung gewonnen. Besonders in Deutschland genießt das Controlling große Wertschätzung. Die Entwicklung des Controllings wurde bereits in zahlreichen Forschungen, Büchern, Artikeln und Arbeiten diskutiert. Der internationale Vergleich des Controllings stellt hingegen ein noch relativ junges Forschungsfeld dar, mit verhältnismäßig wenigen Studien, trotz der seit Jahren zunehmenden Internationalisierung von Unternehmen. Dieses Gebiet wird vor allem für junge Controller von großer Bedeutung sein, da es für sie ein grundlegendes Zukunftsthema in Zeiten der Globalisierung und Weltöffnung darstellt. Daher wird das international vergleichende Controlling Thema dieser Bachelorarbeit sein. In den folgenden Kapiteln wird neben dem deutschen noch das US-amerikanische und chinesische Controlling-System näher betrachtet und analysiert. Für die USA wurde sich entschieden, da es das Ursprungsland des Controllings und zudem noch eine Wirtschaftsmacht darstellt. China wird hingegen in vielen Bereichen noch als Entwicklungsland bezeichnet, spielt jedoch in der weltweiten Wirtschaft eine bedeutende Rolle. Aufgrund der großen Unterschiede in Gesellschaft, Politik und Wirtschaft eignen sich diese Länder besonders gut für einen Vergleich der Controlling-Systeme. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es die Controlling-Praktiken der drei Länder zu vergleichen und dabei auf die Ausgestaltung, Instrumente und Aufgaben des Controllings einzugehen. Außerdem soll geklärt werden, inwieweit das Controlling in den Ländern verbreitet ist und warum es sich unterscheidet. In dieser Arbeit werden bestehende Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede des Controllings identifiziert. Dieses Wissen kann Unternehmen bei einer internationalen Zusammenarbeit helfen, die von anderen Ländern

Many Surgeon General's reports have considered research findings on mechanisms in assessing the biological plausibility of associations observed in epidemiologic studies. Mechanisms of disease are important because they may provide plausibility, which is one of the guideline criteria for assessing evidence on causation. This report specifically reviews the evidence on the potential mechanisms by which smoking causes diseases and considers whether a mechanism is likely to be operative in the production of human disease by tobacco smoke. This evidence is relevant to understanding how smoking causes disease, to identifying those who may be particularly susceptible, and to assessing the potential risks of tobacco products.
