Inhaltsangabe:Einleitung: In einer explosiven Dynamik bilden sich heute rund um das Internet neue Geschäftsfelder und Strategien. Die private wie gewerbliche Nutzung des weltumspannenden Datennetzes wächst mit enormer Geschwindigkeit. Gerade durch die Schnelligkeit der Entwicklung neuer Produkte, Märkte und Leistungen rund um das Medium Internet erhalten Beratung und Umsetzungshilfe im Bereich der kommerziellen Internetnutzung durch Internetdienstleister/ Provider steigende Bedeutung. Internetdienstleister beraten Wirtschaftsunternehmen, staatliche Verwaltung und z.T. Privatkunden bei Einrichtung, Anwendung, Konzeption, Design, Betrieb und Pflege ihres Internet-Auftrittes. Die Erbringung dieser Dienstleistungen ist eine junge Wirtschaftstätigkeit, klare Branchenstrukturen bilden sich erst heraus. In Baden-Württemberg ist die Region Stuttgart der bedeutendste Standort für Multimedia-Unternehmen. Über die Branche der Internetdienstleister in der Region, als Teil der Multimedia-Branche, liegen bisher keine Informationen vor. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es daher einen Überblick über Unternehmensstrukturen, Absatzverflechtungen und Anforderungen der Branche an ihr regionales Umfeld sowie Standorte der Internetdienstleister der Region Stuttgart zu erhalten und daraus Handlungsempfehlungen für die Regional- und Kommunalpolitik abzuleiten. Die zentralen Fragen dieser Arbeit gelten der charakteristischen Struktur der Akteure, ihrem Angebot an Internet-Dienstleistungen, der Nachfragestruktur, sowie der Absatzreichweite der Produkte und Leistungen. Betrachtet werden gleichfalls brancheninterne Verflechtungen, Standortfaktoren der Internetdienstleister sowie ihre Standortmuster innerhalb der Region Stuttgart. Zusammenfassung: Die Diplomarbeit setzt sich aus theoretischen Grundlagen zu Angebot, Nachfrage und Standorten unternehmensorientierter Dienstleister und Internetdienstleister zusammen, aus Informationen zur planerischen Situation im Untersuchungsraum und seinen wirtschaftlichen Kennzahlen, sowie der Makroanalyse (Sekundärstatistiken), deren Daten zur wechselseitigen Absicherung der Befragungsergebnisse dienen. Zur Datengewinnung wurden Ende August 1999, die in die internetspezifischen Rubriken der Datenbank der Medienwirtschaft der IHK Region Stuttgart eingetragenen Unternehmen mittels eines Fragebogens zu den genannten Themen befragt. Insgesamt 72 der 245 angeschriebenen Unternehmen sendeten den Fragebogen ausgefüllt zurück, was einer Netto-Rücklaufquote [...]

The aim of the joint research project Fleets Go Green was the integrated analysis and evaluation of the environmental performance of electric and plug-in-hybrid vehicles in everyday usage on the example of fleet operations. The potential of electric vehicles for reducing the harmful environmental impacts of road transport in everyday conditions can only be analyzed and evaluated in field tests. If electric vehicles should realize their potential to reduce emissions and minimize the consumption of resources, an integrated life cycle assessment is required.
