El libro recoge treinta y siete casos prácticos, agrupados en cuatro capítulos, que las profesoras de la asignatura de Derecho de las Actividades Turísticas Inés Gil Casión y María Luisa Roca Fernández-Castanys han ido preparando durante los últimos tres años para los estudiantes de la Diplomatura de Turismo. Casos prácticos de las actividades turísticas se propone facilitar a los futuros profesionales del sector turístico diferentes instrumentos para poder adquirir en primer lugar, nociones básicas a través de una introducción a los principales conceptos jurídicos de la normativa reguladora de las empresas y actividades turísticas; en segundo lugar, casos prácticos en los que el estudiante debe aplicar sus conocimientos para la resolución de unas preguntas relacionadas con un determinado supuesto de hecho. Y, por último, materiales de estudio y de referencia (normas jurídicas, jurisprudencia, referencias bibliográficas y recursos en Internet) que deben ser de utilidad para los estudiantes a la hora de resolver los casos prácticos, pero que confiamos en que también sea de utilidad para los profesionales del sector turístico en el futuro desarrollo de su actividad.
