This book reviews the state of art in the field of chemical sensors for analyses of ionic or molecular species dissolved in liquid media, mainly in aqueous solutions. The transduction of such devices is based on chemical, biological and physical phenomena. The fundamental phenomena involved in these sensors are described in the different chapters by specialists having a good expertise in the field. Numerous recent bibliographic references are given. Most of the devices could be miniaturised using modern technologies allowing a fabrication on a large scale, for a mass production at low cost. Moreover, such devices could open the field of applications in a near future (environmental, biomedical, food industries, domotic and automotive applications etc.).

Biosensors are analytical devices that combine a biologically sensitive element with a physical or chemical transducer to selectively and quantitatively detect the presence of specific compounds. Balancing basics, principles, and case studies, Biosensors: Microelectrochemical Devices covers the theory and applications of one class of biosensor-microelectrochemical devices. The book clearly explains microelectronic techniques used to produce these cheap, fast reacting, and disposable sensors with the aid of helpful diagrams and tables. Researchers and postgraduates active in the field of chemical sensors, analytical chemistry, or microelectronics will find this an invaluable reference.

Hieroglyphic Key For the last two and a half hundred years, many Egyptologists have been searching and deciphering the Egyptian hieroglyphics and claiming that they have deciphered the hieroglyphics signs. But the truth is that not a single Egyptologist has been able to read even a single hieroglyphic sign. All their claims are false and wild guesses. This book contains the key from which you can unlock the mystery not only of Hieroglyphics but also the origin of Alpha-beta and any script of the world. You will know for the first time the true meaning of hundreds of words like Km.t, Mummy, Cairo, Ra, Eye of Horus and Ptolemy. Gardiner’s sign list (D30) phonetic is ‘nachb-kAw’ means ‘god Nehebkau’. It is neither two-headed snake nor the two arms raised in the prayer. The hieroglyph is based on Sanskrit homonyms word na–th-h नाथः which means ‘A rope passed through the nose of a draft ox or any pet. The other meanings are ‘a lord, master, protector, leader, God, husband. This hieroglyph was used mostly for ‘the lightning god’. (M22) Phonetic is ‘nichb’ means ‘sedge, reed’. Neither the hieroglyph is showing sedge or a reed. Actually, the pictograph was sketched to show the furrow in a field. The two side arms, which are declared ‘a set of leaves’ by European Egyptologists, these arm type lines are not leaves but showing the ridges like letter V between a furrows. The upper turn shows to come back for next furrow. Based on Sanskrit, the word is sh–mb-h शम्बः which means ‘Lightning: ploughing of a field and makes furrow, track or line as the lightning uses to plough the clouds. Other meanings are ‘To go, move, happy, fortunate’. Alan Gardiner declared this hieroglyph logogram U1 as a ‘sickle’ without knowing the Egyptian culture. Though, his searching of phonetic sound of first letter of the word ‘ma’ was correct. Next diphthong ng was forgotten by Copts. Alas! Egyptologists would have searched the ancient boats of Egypt. The Egyptian hieroglyph Gardiner sign listed no.U1 is a Sanskrit based Egyptian word m-ng मन्ग, which means ‘the head or front of a boat’. (E26) Transliteration ‘3b, 3bu, eb’ by European Egyptologist is not correct. Only Sanskrit has its correct word e–bh-h इभः which means ‘an elephant as well as cloud’. The other synonyms for an elephant are ‘g-j This hieroglyph of an elephant could be used for all synonyms words which mean ‘an elephant as well as cloud. ‘Opening of the mouth’ ceremony or ritual --- (F- 13) phonetic is ‘wp, jp’ means ‘horn’. But the real Sanskrit’s word is shri-nga श्रृन्गा which means ‘the horn’. (D-21) phonetic is ‘r, rr, p (kh) ar’ means ‘mouth’. But true word of Sanskrit is r-nh रन्ह which means ‘talketive, speaking. Often the first letter r of this hieroglyph has used in Egyptian texts. Egyptologists have misinterpreted the above hieroglyphic description as ‘opening of the mouth’. The Sanskrit complete word of Shri-nga श्रृन्गा of F13 and first letter r र of D21 (r-nh) is taken. Thus the complete conjunctive word is Shri-nga+r श्रृन्गार which means ‘A fragrant for dress or body, to make up, adornment of body’. This refinement by makeup of mummy (shabti) was ritual. The term Shri–nga-r (makeup) is for both the living and the dead person. Guessing to see the open horns means ‘opening of the mouth ceremony’ is wild guess. Not only this, the key given in this book is Australian aborigine and also reveals the mysteries of the language of the Kenya and the tribal of Africa. The key given in this book opens the locks of hidden secrets of every ancient religion, culture and civilization of the world, not just Peru, Inca and Maya.

We now live in the time of the Gaian hierophant. This is the one who reveals and shows us how to relate to the sacred aspects of Gaia, our planet. Who is this hierophant? Each of us, when we join the campaign with Gaia against the desecration of our natural environment. But first we have to discover what the Earth really is. The Earth's thousands of sacred sites hold a secret: they are functional parts of the planet's geomantic body, consciousness nodes in the Earth's subtle body. Each veils a Light temple, each once known widely and remembered in myth, and Welcome to Your Designer Planet! documents 165 different kinds. The Earth is not an accident of the cosmos, but was designed specifically for humans as an extended Mystery temple primed to support and enhance our greater awareness. And the designers intended that humans help maintain it. Want to help the ecosystem and modulate global warming and climate change? Plug yourself into the Earth's Light grid through your nearest sacred site and start helping. Earth Mysteries researcher Richard Leviton presents a working model of the Earth's geomantic reality based on 24 years of research. The world's myths are the doorway into this fantastic domain of the Earth's visionary geography, showing us where to go and what to do and even what kinds of spiritual beings to expect to see. The future of the Earth is in our hands. Here are some pages from its design manual showing us how to fine-tune our wonderful host planet.

A storm is brewing, and this goddess does not like the damp… Bat Sitru, an Egyptian goddess, is content in her new life in Sligo, Ireland. She tends the bar, participates in all the sing-songs she cares to, and is making new friends. The only thing she could wish to change is her relationship with the O’Loinsigh brothers—they’ve grown distant, and she’s afraid to upset the careful balance the four of them have found. Before she can figure out what to do about that distance, an invitation arrives from the head of the O’Loinsigh family, leading to the revelation of long-held secrets and her visions come to life once more. What she will need to face this time is nothing so simple as a madwoman out for revenge—old legends are stirring as an ancient evil seeks to return. Along with Dub, Mell, Shar, the reluctant Finn, and a host of other outcasts, Bat will confront a growing conspiracy of the fae, gods, Fomoiri, and an evil long locked away. All she wants is to enjoy her strawberries and tea, and maybe a kiss or two, but sometimes a goddess has to… Well, a goddess has to do what a goddess has to do. The Forgotten is a slow burn, reverse harem love story, filled with a weaving of Irish lore and Egyptian mythology; oh, and whiskey and tea and pixies, oh my!

An abandoned Egyptian goddess follows her visions to Ireland, and finds more than she ever bargained for... Bat Sitru used to be a goddess. Well, technically she still is. But with no followers, no temples, and only the overly mischievous cat-goddess Bastet as a friend, it's difficult to lay claim to the title. When her visions—once faded—return to her, they point to a land in the north, one of green slopes, mist, and rainbows. She is shown a hope for comfort and home, something that has long been missing from her existence. Once there, she begins to wonder if her visions have led her wrong. She's cold, damp, and her new landlords, the O’Loinsigh brothers, are not particularly welcoming. Enter soul stealing daggers, dead leprechauns, really good tea and a pint or two, ancient grudges and evils, sing-songs, and secrets revealed that change our goddess's whole view of the world as she knew it. Oh, and let’s not forget four sexy men intent on showing her just how much of a goddess she still is. In the end, it will be up to her, that once forgotten and abandoned goddess, to restore the balance and prevent the world from descending into chaos... *** This is a reverse harem fantasy story, and includes the complete Forgotten Trilogy. ***

Ancient gods and modern armies clash in a riveting alternative-history thriller. Cheryl MacIntyre loves her work on the Menmenet homicide squad. Then she’s fired—for being American. When she plunges into Ta’an-Imenty politics to get her job back, she finds only an endless well of corruption. Shesmu za-Akhen, her lover, can’t help her because he gets a frantic call from the mountains of Washeshu, the small country to the east—his foster father has vanished. The quest to find him takes Shesmu deep into a world of indigenous spirituality that compels him to confront his personal demons. Tahefnu, a young Miwuk woman, lives in an idyllic mountain valley south of Washeshu but questions her future. She undertakes to guide Shesmu in his search for his Coyote-spirit father but loses her own Hummingbird spirit when she confronts the Remetjy gods. When a Spetsnaz team from Russkaya Amerika captures the pair, Shesmu must abandon his quest to save Tahefnu’s life and his own. Furious at Shesmu for deserting her in her time of trial, MacIntyre goes it alone at the Temple of Mentju while Shesmu and Tahefnu hike through the valley of the dead. As MacIntyre rises through the ranks of Mentju, she uncovers a shadowy plot at the highest levels of the state. NATO countries to the east plan to invade the republic with the help of the plotters. Discovered, she flees for her life and joins the Remetjy Republican Guard in the mountains to fight for her adopted country. MacIntyre, Shesmu, and Tahefnu join forces. But with a powerful army poised to invade and the gods against them, their future looks bleak—and short—unless they can get the gods on their side. Set in a North America divided between the North American Treaty Organization of the United States, Numunuu, and the Plains Federation and the Ta’an-Imenty Republic colonized by the Egyptians, the third novel in the Menmenet trilogy of alternate history thrillers confronts MacIntyre and Shesmu with political conspiracy, war, genocide, and their own demons in a world dominated as much by the gods as by men.
