However, in all of their experiences and life-threatening episodes, it was their strong Christian faith and trust in their gracious, loving heavenly father that sustains and protects them and encouraging them to give testimonies of miraculous and supernatural events. This book is filled with stories of survival, beginning with "A Matter of Survival" to "Blessings by the Dozen" of a Singapore Chinese preacher's family. The writer takes the reader along a journey of his fascinating and challenging life's experiences that are filled with excitement, surprises and even life-threatening events. As a God-loving, faithful believer, the writer attributes it all to all the glory and honor to his heavenly Father who is the Alpha and Omega, the Almighty, all=knowing, all powerful God. In non-fiction fashion, the writer portrays the life of an Asian Chinese man and his family whose lives had been dramatically impacted by the influence of the early Methodist church in Singapore. Their lives have been greatly blessed and they are all living in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and the United States of America. The writer describes the many hardships and challenges that faced a family of six boys and six girls growing up in a humble Methodist preacher's home. Theirs was a childhood filled with endless struggles and hardships. Their successes are a testimony to the grace and faithfulness of their loving heavenly Father. It was their father, the Senior Rev. Paul S. H. Hang, Sr.'s complete dedication to God and the early church, his family and his close association with the early American Methodist missionaries who came to Singapore that changed the course of their lives. In the final Chapter 21 entitled,"We will Glorify the Lord" the writer tells of the many blessings God has bestowed upon him and his family; even his father's ministry has been blessed as is evident in the countless souls saved and a marvelous church set on a hill in the rich and cross-cultural country of Singapore. Knowing about his unique and wonderful life's stories, a Christian friend wrote: "The amazing fact of this story is that all twelve children came to know and love the same Lord Jesus that the Senior Pastor Hang was serving. The most wonderful lesson the book presents is that 'Nothing is impossible when God is in it'"
