Excerpt from Jahresbericht der Pharmazie Im Verlage von Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht in Gottingen ist unter dem Titel "Jahresbericht uber die Forschritte der Pharmakognosie, Pharmacie und Toxikologie" seit 1866 eine Fortsetzung des Berichte erschienen, welcher bis dahin in Canstatt's Jahresberichte uber die Fortschritte der Uedicin in allen Landern als "Jahresbericht uber die Fortschritte der gesammten Pharmacie und Pharmakologie im Inund Ausland" wahrend der Jahre 1841 bis 1866 von Dierbach, Theodor Martius, spater von Wiggers bearbeitet wurde. Diese selbstandige Fortsetzung wurde von 1866-1875 von Wiggers, - anfangs von Theodor, spater von August Husemann und G. Dra gendorf f unterstuzt, - herausgegeben. Im Jahre 1875 ubernahm G. Dragen dorf f allein die Bearbeitung, er wurde spater von Marme und Wulfsberg unterstutzt seit 1881 hat der Unterzeichnete die muhevolle, aber vielleicht nicht undankbare Aufgabe zu losen versucht, dem Apothekerstande einen brauchbaren und moglichst vollstandigen Jahresbericht zu liefern. Da sich aber die Ergebnisse der neuen Forschungen auf dem Gebiete der Pharmacie und deren Hilfswissensohaften in den ebenso zahlreichen, als kostspielig zu beschafkenden Zeitschriften oft recht zerstreut vorfinden, so war die Aufgabe keine leichte und ware ohne betrachtlichen Zeitaufwand und materielle Opfer, namentlich auch der Herren Verleger nicht zu erfullen gewesen. Unter diesen Umstanden und bei dem Anwachsen des zu bearbeitenden Materials und der damit verbundenen grosseren Schwierigkeiten der Bearbeitung ist es fur den Fortbestand des Jahresberichts von nicht zu unterschatzender Bedeutung, dass mit vorliegendem Jahrgange der Deutsche Apotheker Ver ein fur die Zukunft die Herausgabe desselben unter meiner Leitung und itn seitherigen Verlage ubernommen hat, nachdem zuerst F. A. Fluckiger (Arch. d. Pharm. 1885, 424), spater angesehene Fachblatter einer solchen das Wort geredet hatten. Dadurch ist die Zukunft des Berichte in sichere Bahnen geleitet und nicht mehr den Wechselfalleii unterworfen, welchen er als einfaches Privatunternehmen ausgesetzt war.
