Esau findet man in der Auflistung dieser Stammv ter nicht. Die Erz hlung ber Jakob und Esau im Buch Genesis des Alten Testamentes ist der n chste gro e Abschnitt der Patriarchengeschichte. Die Erz hlung scheint eine zusammenh ngende Geschichte zu sein, in deren Vordergrund das Widereinander von Jakob und Esau steht. In der Literatur bezeichnet man diesen Teil der Patriarchenerz hlung gerne als "Jakobsgeschichte". Wie die Bezeichnung "Jakobsgeschichte" schon vermuten l sst erf hrt der Leser in diesem Teil der Patriarchenerz hlung nicht viel ber Esau. Jakob hingegen begleitet uns durch die Erz hlung wie ein "roter Faden". Im ersten Kapiteln werden die einzelnen Abschnitten von Gen 25-36 genauer betrachtet und mit Hilfe unterschiedlicher Kommentare gedeutet, d.h. es wird eine historisch-kritische Exegese vorgenommen. Im zweiten Kapitel werden die einzelnen Ans tze der Bibeldidaktik n her erl utern und der Ansatz von Ingo Baldermann etwas ausf hrlicher dargestellt. Vor allem den Ansatz der Psalmendidaktik wird etwas n her in Augenschein genommen. Im dritten Kapitel geht es dann um die Umsetzung im Unterricht. Fragen die dort beantwortet werden sollen, sind: "Welche Abschnitte der Jakob-Esau Erz hlung eignen sich f r den Unterricht?" "Welcher Ergebnisse der historisch-kritischen Exegese sind f r die Kinder von Bedeutung?" und "Wie lassen sich die Themen im Unterricht umsetzen?". "Welche Ziele k nnte die Lehrplaneinheit haben?"
