The Dream Assassin Volume 1 written by Roman Harambura and has been published by Partridge Publishing Singapore this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2019-02-20 with Fiction categories.

“Humanity’s Greatest Gift Imagination” Roman expresses that we as humans have the ability to think by thought power, as humans on this most precious Earth we each have the power within us to create through manifestation anything we choose simply by the power of our own thoughts. Roman believes we are all thinking beings that every thought we each have has the possibilities of becoming our own reality be it negative thoughts or positive thoughts which in turn creates our personal existence either in a negative way or a positive way, he says we are not in reality physical it only appears to be that way because we are so highly conditioned by our own beliefs systems, we are in fact “Living Energy” in the making of becoming “Living Consciousness”. The main reason he wrote and created his new book: “The Dream Assassin” was to show all of humanity that “Imagination” is real, and at the same time create magnificent imaginative magic that would not only bring awareness but ignite the true inner passion of every individual that reads this book, but also to see the movie when it is created in the future to come. As “Albert Einstein the great Theoretical Physicist” said on many occasions: “Reality is merely an Illusion all be it a very persistent one”. It’s like saying just because you cannot touch something doesn’t mean it is not real, because it may be vibrating simply at another level of consciousness.

"Why? Because you still love your late wife??" "Yes," he didn't waver in his response and he glanced at her and she could see the emotions much present in his eyes, they were genuine and consuming. "Does it bother you??" His question drew her out of her thought and she quickly cleared her throat and shrugged, "No, it doesn't because I think I know that you still do, it's written in your eyes. You want someone to be beside you to help you convince the world of the lie that you have moved on from your late wife even though you truly haven't even after three years and you need someone who will know how you feel about her and still stay through it all. But we know such a person doesn't exist. No normal person would get into a relationship with you knowing full well that even though they fall for you, your heart will never be theirs. And so we make pretend and that's why you offered me the contract of being your pretend girlfriend, Mr inferno."

Marc and Debra seemed to have it all—a lovely home in the Prairie town of Medicine Hat, fulfilling careers, a supportive marriage, and two beautiful children: eight-year-old Jacob and twelve-year-old JR. After years of struggle to reach this point, they finally felt their future held promise. But on April 23, 2006, their bodies were discovered in their basement, covered in savage stab wounds. Upstairs, Jacob lay dead on his bed, his toys spattered with blood. Investigators worried for JR’s safety, but unknown to them, the pretty honour roll student had been developing a disturbing alter ego online. Runaway Devil professed a fondness for a darker world of death metal music, the goth subculture, and a love for Jeremy Steinke, a twenty-three-year-old high-school dropout who lived in a rundown trailer park. Soon, shocking evidence in JR’s school locker—printed here for the first time—led police to believe the girl was a suspect in her family’s murders. The case horrified parents everywhere. Journalists Robert Remington and Sherri Zickefoose have been covering it from the beginning, and in Runaway Devil, they reveal what really happened: the unlikely young love, the teenage rebellion, a troubling world of adolescent drifters, and a small community torn apart by an unthinkable crime. A modern cautionary tale, Runaway Devil is also a chilling portrait of an approval-seeking man smitten with a manipulative young girl—who would stop at nothing to get what she wanted.

Paramilitary Groups And The State Under Globalization written by Jasmin Hristov and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-12-30 with Social Science categories.

This book examines the phenomenon of paramilitarism across Latin America and the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, Africa, and Asia, offering a nuanced perspective while identifying key patterns in the way paramilitary violence is implicated in processes of capital accumulation, state-building, and the reproduction of social power. Paramilitary violence, a key modality of coercion in the era of globalization, has been pursued by states and dominant classes in the Global South, to reproduce or extend their power over subaltern groups. Paramilitary groups are responsible for atrocities, including extrajudicial executions, disappearances, torture, rape, and forced displacement. The book integrates empirically rich investigations into an emergent theory of political violence, capturing the relationship between parastatal armed actors, capital, and the state. The analysis sheds light on globally relevant phenomena such as the end of the Cold War, the shifting role of US hegemony, and evolving nature of the nation-state. The book is suitable for academics, graduate and upper-year undergraduate students, and policy-makers in development, human rights, and violence prevention. Given its interdisciplinary subject, it appeals to scholars from a wide range of disciplines, including political science, sociology, political anthropology, development, peace and conflict, security and terrorism, international relations, and global studies.

Bicultural Literature And Film In French And English written by Peter I. Barta and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2015-12-22 with Literary Criticism categories.

This book focuses on literature and cinema in English or French by authors and directors not working in their native language. Artists with hybrid identities have become a defining phenomenon of contemporary reality following the increased mobility between civilisations during the postcolonial period and the waves of emigration to the West. Cinema and prose fiction remain the most popular sources of cultural consumption, not least owing to the adaptability of both to the new electronic media. This volume considers cultural products in English and French in which the explicitly multi-focal representation of authors' experiences of their native languages/cultures makes itself conspicuous. The essays explore work by the peripheral and those without a country, while problematising what might be meant by the widely used but not always well-defined term ‘bicultural’. The first section looks at films by such well-known filmmakers working in France as Bouchareb, Kechiche, Legzouli and Dridi, as well as the animated feature Persepolis. Here the focus is on the representation of human experience in spatial terms, exploring the appropriation of territory cohabited by ‘local’ people, newcomers and their children, haunted by the cultural memories of distant places. The second part is devoted to multicultural authors whose ‘native’ language was English, Russian, Polish, Hungarian or Spanish (Beckett, Herzen, Voyeikova, Triolet, Conrad, Hoffmann, Kristof, Dorfman), and their creative engagement with difference. A study of the emergence of multilingual writing in Montaigne and an autobiographical essay by Elleke Boehmer on growing up surrounded by English, Dutch, Afrikaans and Zulu frame the volume's chapters. The collection relishes the freedom provided by liberation from the confines of one language and culture and the delight in creative multilingualism. This book will be of significant interest to those studying the subject of biculturalism, as well as the fields of comparative literature and cinema.

Working at the local processing plant, Marcos is in the business of slaughtering humans—though no one calls them that anymore. His wife has left him, his father is sinking into dementia, and Marcos tries not to think too hard about how he makes a living. After all, it happened so quickly. First, it was reported that an infectious virus has made all animal meat poisonous to humans. Then governments initiated the “Transition.” Now, eating human meat—“special meat”—is legal. Marcos tries to stick to numbers, consignments, processing. Then one day he’s given a gift: a live specimen of the finest quality. Though he’s aware that any form of personal contact is forbidden on pain of death, little by little he starts to treat her like a human being. And soon, he becomes tortured by what has been lost—and what might still be saved.
