Après de nombreuses années d’enseignement sur l’Église à la faculté de théologie de Toulouse, l’auteur nous livre ses réflexions sur sa manière de concevoir et de vivre la foi chrétienne en notre temps. « Croire autrement », c’est accepter de vivre sa foi dans l’insécurité d’une aventure, où ne manquent ni l’essoufflement, ni les aspirités du chemin, ni un questionnement qui ne faiblit pas. C’est dans cet esprit de recherche, modeste et libre, que le théologien Jean Rigal, dont on connaît « la fibre pastorale », parle de sa manière de croire, souligne la relativité des dogmes, pose des questions brûlantes à son Église, donne la priorité « au véritable humain » selon l’expression du concile Vatican II. La grande révolution religieuse accomplie par Jésus de Nazareth, c’est d’avoir ouvert aux hommes une autre voie d’accès à Dieu que celle du sacré religieux : la voie « profane » de la relation au prochain. L’auteur propose six approches de la présence eucharistique. Plus largement, il inscrit son témoignage dans un contexte de sécularisation très affirmée où la foi doit se frayer un chemin au coeur de la modernité. Ce livre traduit une conviction profonde de l’auteur : la foi chrétienne est un chemin d’exploration, de recherche et de liberté. Jean Rigal, prêtre du diocèse de Rodez, docteur en théologie, est spécialiste des questions relatives à l’Église. Professeur d’ecclésiologie pendant vingtcinq ans à la faculté de théologie de Toulouse, il a animé de multiples sessions en France et en différents pays. Il est l’auteur de nombreux articles et d’une vingtaine d’ouvrages.

This book analyses and describes Speech and Thought Presentation (S&TP) in French from a broad theoretical perspective, building bridges between linguistic, stylistic and narratological frameworks that have until now been developed separately.
