Jahrhunderts attraktiv, so stellt sich die Frage, ob Storms Literatur eine willkommene Ablenkung vom zunehmend hektischer werdenden Alltag bietet, oder ob sie vielmehr Probleme und Unsicherheiten gestaltet, mit denen sich auch der heutige Leser noch identifizieren kann. Um diese Fragen beantworten zu können, führt die vorliegende Studie einen Vergleich der im literarischen Werk zum Ausdruck gelangenden Daseinserfahrung mit der von Rezipienten unterschiedlicher Zeiten durch und bedient sich dabei sowohl literaturwissenschaftlicher als auch textlinguistischer Interpretationsmethoden. Besonders die Analyse von unterströmigen Sinnfügungen und Nullpositionen ermöglicht es, ambivalente Bedeutungspotentiale in Storms Texten offen zu legen, die das Bangen um die gefährdete gesellschaftliche Kohärenz in einer soziokulturellen Umbruchphase nachempfinden lassen.

Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2023 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 2,7, Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel (Institut für neuere deutsche Literatur), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Hauptziel dieses Artikels ist die Untersuchung der Darstellung von Weiblichkeit in den Werken von Heinrich Böll, wobei traditionelle und progressive Darstellungen von Frauen gegenübergestellt werden. Ausgehend von theoretischen Grundlagen zu etablierten Weiblichkeitsbildern präsentiert der Artikel eine umfassende Analyse von Bölls Früh- und Spätwerk und beleuchtet die Übergänge und Verwandlungen der weiblichen Figuren in seinen Erzählungen. Zunächst wird die traditionelle Weiblichkeitsvorstellung untersucht, gefolgt von der Darstellung der emanzipierten Frau. Der Hauptteil des Artikels widmet sich der Darstellung weiblicher Figuren in den Werken Bölls, wobei ausgewählte Werke wie "An der Brücke" und "Der Bahnhof von Zimpren" aus Bölls Frühwerk sowie "Die verlorene Ehre der Katharina Blum" und "Frauen vor Flusslandschaft" aus seinem Spätwerk genauer analysiert werden. Die Darstellung weiblicher Figuren in Heinrich Bölls Werk zwischen Traditionalismus und Progressivität wird intensiv erforscht, wobei die komplexe Weiblichkeitsdarstellung in Bölls Werken aufgedeckt wird.
