Jesus Christ is God is a treatise on the Deity of Jesus Christ, and the Trinity of God. Very few have a neutral response when they hear the name 'Jesus'. Billions upon billions have called on the name 'Jesus' for centuries, and yet few have ever known the true Person behind the name of the One Who would come and "...save His people from their sins" (Matt. 1:21). Many seek solace and refuge in the name 'Jesus', but few there be who know the Person and Work of the Man behind the name. Many derive great comfort and assurance in their lives simply because they call the one whom they worship, 'Jesus', and yet they will one day realise that to know His name and yet not know the Person behind the name, is to not know Him at all.

An Understanding of the biblical role of the Holy Spirit in the church, which is called the "Body of Christ", is extremely important as we move toward the close of the Church age. It's importance is recognized most profoundly as we accept the Scriptural reference of Christ as the Head of the Body, and accept His word as truth. The writer of the Epistle to the Hebrews declares that "Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant ... But Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast to the confidence and rejoicing to the hope firm to the end" (Hebrews 3:5,6). And, in Paul's Epistle to the Ephesians, he assures us that God "put all things under His (Christ's) feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church." Clearly we find in Scripture that "having learned obedience by the things which He suffered; and having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him. And He gave the eleven disciples one important command which is enveloped in what we may count as a farewell address gives a clear role that the Holy Spirit would assume after He ascended to His Father. This includes the assurance that He would continue to reveal truth to the church through the Holy Spirit, saying "I still have many things to say to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears, He will speak, and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take what is mine and declare it to you (John 6:12-15 NKJ-Version). This study then, is an attempt to clarify the role that Jesus commands the Holy Spirit to perform as an "Helper" to the church, who will abide with the church teaching us all things and bringing to remembrance the things that Jesus Christ, the Head wants us to do (John 14:26). The major message of this study is, should we not "Let Christ Be Heard." To that end it is my prayer that this work will be taken as a call back to the word of God as the foundation and building material for all theological matters that the church holds dearly. May we develop searching souls that will be able to divide between experiential myths and biblical truth.

Jesus Christ Is God written by Joe Cienkowski and has been published by Xulon Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009-08 with Religion categories.

The book deals with the real, historical factual person of Jesus Christ. The book shows that not only was Jesus Christ a real figure in history, but that He is also the true Lord God and Almighty Creator cloaked in flesh. This book proves that the resurrection was a real event and real fact in history that can be objectively proven. This will, in turn, prove the spiritual aspects of the Bible must be true; such as the fact that He is the Lord, and that our sins are forgiven for putting trust in this real Man. Joe Cienkowski is a Christian man born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who loves to teach about and share his Christian faith. He grew up in the Roman Catholic faith, but abandoned his faith in his 20's. Joe is a passionate, fundamental Christian, who believes the Bible literally and historically and whose mission is to teach and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. God broke down the many strongholds that were in his life, such as believing in evolution and believing in the Roman Catholic faith. After time in prison for marijuana, he came to understand that Jesus wasn't just some superhero, but a real Man who lived, performed miracles, fulfilled prophecies, and perform the greatest miracle ever: the resurrection from the dead. Although he has no diplomas from any college, he is a self-made ready student of the Bible. He has spent many years studying the Bible on his own, and has put himself under the most sound teachers in the faith, such as RC Sproul, D. James Kennedy, Ravi Zacharias, Hank Hanegraaff, David Jeremiah, Tony Evans, and Kent Hovind, to name a few. Of course he credits the greatest teacher, the Holy Spirit, for teaching him the sound fundamentals of the faith.

Was Jesus God written by Richard Swinburne and has been published by OUP Oxford this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2010-01-07 with Philosophy categories.

The orderliness of the universe and the existence of human beings already provides some reason for believing that there is a God - as argued in Richard Swinburne's earlier book Is There a God ? Swinburne now claims that it is probable that the main Christian doctrines about the nature of God and his actions in the world are true. In virtue of his omnipotence and perfect goodness, God must be a Trinity, live a human life in order to share our suffering, and found a church which would enable him to tell all humans about this. It is also quite probable that he would provide his human life as an atonement for our wrongdoing, teach us how we should live and tell us his plans for our future after death. Among founders of religions, Jesus satisfies uniquely well the requirement of living the sort of human life which God would need to have lived. But to give us adequate reason to believe that Jesus was God, God would need to put his 'signature' on the life of Jesus by an act which he alone could do, for example raise him from the dead. There is adequate historical evidence that Jesus rose from the dead. The church which he founded gave plausible interpretations of his basic message. Therefore Christian doctrines are probably true.

One of the most influential twentieth-century studies on the doctrine of Christ, this highly acclaimed work demonstrates Pannenberg's belief that at the heart of every Christian theology lies its teaching about Jesus Christ. The second edition, available for the first time in paperback, contains an Afterword in which the author reviews other theologians' responses to his thesis and methodology and shows the progression of his own interpretation.

I am a simple man writing an unbiased look at one of the Bibles’ hottest topics; Is Jesus God? I give you the simple facts, plain Scripture, and a straight forward view of what is being said in the Bible minus any religious mumbo-jumbo. You will be taken around the Bible to see where Scripture talks about the topic of Jesus being God. I researched, studied, and prayed about what I was finding over a five year period. This book is what has come from that painstaking adventure. I grew up in a Baptist church. I have not attended any traditional schooling for Biblical learning and have not been trained by any theological professors so my mind has not been tainted to their views. Scripture says that you don’t need anyone to teach you the Word, the Holy Spirit will lead you to it. What you get from me is what the Holy Spirit and I have found together.

New York Times bestselling author and Bible expert Bart Ehrman reveals how Jesus’s divinity became dogma in the first few centuries of the early church. The claim at the heart of the Christian faith is that Jesus of Nazareth was, and is, God. But this is not what the original disciples believed during Jesus’s lifetime—and it is not what Jesus claimed about himself. How Jesus Became God tells the story of an idea that shaped Christianity, and of the evolution of a belief that looked very different in the fourth century than it did in the first. A master explainer of Christian history, texts, and traditions, Ehrman reveals how an apocalyptic prophet from the backwaters of rural Galilee crucified for crimes against the state came to be thought of as equal with the one God Almighty, Creator of all things. But how did he move from being a Jewish prophet to being God? In a book that took eight years to research and write, Ehrman sketches Jesus’s transformation from a human prophet to the Son of God exalted to divine status at his resurrection. Only when some of Jesus’s followers had visions of him after his death—alive again—did anyone come to think that he, the prophet from Galilee, had become God. And what they meant by that was not at all what people mean today. Written for secular historians of religion and believers alike, How Jesus Became God will engage anyone interested in the historical developments that led to the affirmation at the heart of Christianity: Jesus was, and is, God.

Is Jesus God written by Wallace Jungers and has been published by Author House this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2005-04-29 with Religion categories.

This is a little book about two big questions, the two greatest questions in all of Western theological thought. Does God exist, and is Jesus God? There are no easy answers to these questions and, certainly, they cannot be addressed in such a small work. The answers are a work of a lifetime. Mr. Jungers has devoted twenty-one books to this subject so far, and he feels that he is only skimming the surface. Thomas Aquinas wrote twenty-one large volumes in Latin trying to answer these questions, and, at the end, said that all his writings seemed like straw. Like the Angelic Doctor, Mr. Jungers attempts to answer both questions in the affirmative. Most of the eight billion people in the world would answer the first question, "Does God Exist," with a yes; however, only about one-forth of the people in the world have ever even entertained the second question, "Is Jesus God"? Certain highlights stand out in this book: a series of e-mails on the birth and early years of the life of Jesus of Nazareth (written around the 2004 Christmas season); Jesus in the eyes of the Jews and the Romans; and the meaning of the Lord's Prayer, when it was said early on by his own disciples. One is invited to read this book with the eyes of faith, in the spirit of St. Paul: "If you confess with your lips That Jesus is Lord And believe in your heart That God raised him from the dead, You will be saved." (Rm 10:9)
