Chinese Dialectics written by Chenshan Tian and has been published by Lexington Books this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2005 with History categories.

Dialectical thought is at the core of Karl Marx's work and all subsequent attempts to build on his legacy: Marxism. And, arguably, Marx's special departure into dialectics represents an anomaly in that tradition and all of Western philosophy. Marxism finds its philosophers in the academy; in trade unions; in former soviet states; in industrial and non-industrial nations and this makes it distinct from all other modern philosophies. It is certainly the most international modern philosophical movement. Chinese Dialectics From Yijing to Marxism is an unparalleled investigation into the conversation between Western Marxism and Chinese, or Eastern Marxism. An autochthonous version of Marxism persists in China coming to fruition through the work of Mao Zedong. Chenshan Tian contends that the conversation between Eastern and Western Marxism results in a striking feature of dialectics that pervades the everyday thinking and speech of ordinary persons in China. No study to date has undertaken the task of tracing the development of Marxism in China through it's ancient philosophical texts. This book is absolutely essential reading in the disciplines of comparative political theory, philosophy, and Asian studies.

Huizong was an exceptional emperor who lived through momentous times. A man of many talents, he wrote poetry and created his own distinctive calligraphy style; collected paintings, calligraphies, and antiquities on a large scale; promoted Daoism; and involved himself in the training of court artists, the layout of gardens, and reforms of music and medicine. The quarter century when Huizong ruled is just as fascinating. The greatly enlarged scholar-official class had come into its own but was deeply divided by factional strife. The long struggle between the Chinese state and its northern neighbors entered a new phase when Song proved unable to defend itself against the newly emergent Jurchen state of Jin. Huizong and thousands of members of his family and court were taken captive, and the Song dynasty had to recreate itself in the South.

China S Aid To Africa written by Zhangxi Cheng and has been published by Taylor & Francis this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-05-08 with Political Science categories.

Although China has rapidly increased foreign aid to Africa and is now a relatively major player in the developmental assistance regime, little is still known regarding how China delivers its foreign aid, and even less about how this foreign aid actually works in the recipient countries. This book, extensively utilising Chinese sources, much of which have not been available before, examines the effectiveness and sustainability of China's foreign aid in Africa, as well as the political, economic and diplomatic factors that influence Chinese aid disbursement policies. The book argues that a nebulous notion of "friendship", however ill-defined, is a key factor in Chinese aid, something which is often overlooked by Western scholars. Through a detailed examination of both the decision-making process in Chinese aid disbursements, as well as an examination of specific case studies in West Africa, this book improves our understanding of China's foreign aid policies towards Africa. It finds that there are profound shortcomings in China's foreign aid at present which, despite the protestations of "friendship" and solidarity, undermine Beijing’s effectiveness as an actor in the developmental assistance enterprise in Africa. This text will be of key interest to scholars and students of development studies, African studies, China-Africa relations and more broadly to international relations.

With the trend of social welfare system rising, it is necessary that corporate must shoulder the social responsibility; it becomes the mission of the corporate nowadays. Therefore, cause-related marketing has been the newest marketing strategies for the corporate. But whether these marketing activities can really induce consumers' positive attitude or not, so this is the main topic will be discussed in this study. Recently, with the rapidly growths of cheat crimes, the source credibility of message will be inevitablely the most important cues in the consumers' decision making processes, such as the widely wisdom or heuristics notify that "experts can be trusted "and "consensus implies correctness". Therefore, this study proposes a conceptual framework for investigating consumers' buying decision based on cause-related marketing activities, and further explores the issues of how consumers use their heuristics. The experimental scenario will be arranged in this study. These are two factors between-subject design and we include two levels for each factor (source credibility:high, low; task importance: high, low). Furthermore, based on the viewpoints of heuristics we investigate the influences of two independent variables on consumers' buying decisions. Moreover, the interaction effect of two independent variables on buying decisions will be explored and analyzed. Additionally, the construct of need for cognition by individual subjects are measured, in order to explore their moderating effect on buying decisions accompanied by two independent variables, i.e., source credibility and task importance. In this study, we utilize quasi-experimental design for the convenient samples of data collection, and subjects are 21

The Roles Of Brand Experience Brand Personality And Brand Relationship Quality In Determining Brand Loyalty written by 任嘉樺 and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014 with categories.

Over the last decade, brand loyalty is widely used in order to increase the business performance. However, solely a strong brand is insufficient for fierce markets, building a long term relationship is essential. A literature review showed that brand experience, brand personality and brand relationship quality are important variables for brand loyalty. Thus, this research develops a framework that intends to find out the roles of brand experience, brand personality, brand relationship quality on brand loyalty in context of restaurant chains (i.e. McDonald and Din Tai Fung). Data collected from 280 Malaysian respondents and 278 Taiwanese respondents via street or mall intercept surveys conducted in Kuala Lumpur and Taipei. After collecting the data, SPSS is employed to exam the reliability and factor loading of those constructs. Afterwards, LISREL is used to run Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Model (SEM) for comprehension of the effect of the research model. The hypotheses applied to different samples will lead to different results from the cultural difference and other issues. Lastly, managerial implications, research limitations and suggestions for future research are discussed.

Remembering The Samsui Women written by Kevin E.Y. Low and has been published by NUS Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2015-04-20 with Social Science categories.

Immediately recognizable by their hong tou jin or red headscarves, Singapore’s Samsui women—immigrants from the Samsui region of Guangdong, China—have become icons of Singapore’s twentieth-century economic transformation. Working in construction, in factories and as domestics, the Samsui women have become celebrated in Singapore for their hard work and their resilience, and in China for the sacrifices they made for their families. Kelvin Low explores the lives and legacy of the Samsui women, both through media and state representations and through the oral histories of the women themselves. His work sheds light on issues of their identity, both publicly constructed and self-defined, and explores why they undertook their difficult migration. Remembering the Samsui Women is an illuminating study of the connection between memory and nation, including the politics of what is remembered and what is forgotten.
