There is 'love jihad' in the Qur'an. The Qur'an categorically prohibits the marriage of a Muslim with a non-Muslim when it warns: "Do not marry idolaters until they believe." If a marriage cannot take place without religious conversion, it cannot be considered as a genuine token of love.
