Sustainability In Developing Countries written by Susan Osireditse Keitumetse and has been published by Springer Nature this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-10-08 with Political Science categories.

This book illustrates an alternative approach to ‘state of sustainability’ reporting by presenting cross-sectoral and multi-disciplinary discussions on sustainability issues in the context of a developing country, Botswana. The book volume illustrates how academic publishing can supplement African governments' existing forms of reporting on sustainability by providing on-ground detailed descriptions and experiences relating to achievement of the various sustainable development goals (SDGs). In addition, this process involves, increases and enhances diversity of stakeholders that report on sustainability. Furthermore, the approach resonates with the UN’s recommendation to build local strategies for implementation of the 2030 agenda for sustainable development. Conventional reporting on sustainability by most African countries is an exercise that is customarily the preserve of designated government ministries. While this form of reporting provides a consistent platform for tracking sustainable development goals, it can also benefit from juxtaposition with in-depth descriptions and experiences provided by academic publishing. Academia, through publishing, provides a framework for on-ground situation-analysis as well as in-depth descriptions of African country’s grass-root experiences, thus allowing for temporal tracking of sustainable development milestones. As this volume illustrates, experiences from the various contributors on this volume highlight different points of departure towards achieving the 2030 agenda. Topics covered include biodiversity, water management, world heritage, environment, education, tourism, gender, institutional approaches to achievement of SDGs, as well as contribution of non-governmental organisations (NGO)'s amongst others.

Mission To Mars written by Adidas Wilson and has been published by Adidas Wilson this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on with Science categories.

Everyone seems to be thinking about Mars nowadays. NASA plans to have humans on Mars by 2030 while SpaceX wants to do it sooner, by 2024. Mars is a common theme in Hollywood. There are movies like The Martian and Life that speculate how life may be on the red planet. None of these movies, however, seems to address the elephant in the room—how will humans survive long-term on Mars? The Mars atmosphere is mostly comprised of carbon monoxide and its surface is too cold for human life. The gravity is 38% that of Earth. This leaves the question of how a human being can survive such an environment. Traveling to Mars is an easy task, as the journey will only take 260 days when the two planets are closest to each other. After arriving, the challenge is landing on the surface. What landing system is safe for colonists and astronauts? By 2007, scientists had four landing suggestions; the Legged Standing System, Sky-Crane Landing System, Airbag Landing System and lastly, the Touchdown Sensing. As of 2017, scientists had already come up with more ways for landing such as diving into the Martian atmosphere and skirting closer to the surface. NASA is already thinking of the kind of habitation that will help colonists survive on Mars. In 2016, six companies had started designing possible habitat prototypes. All these prototypes are likely to be similar in a few ways—they should be self-sustaining, able to support life for a long period of time without help from Earth, and have a seal against Mars’s thin atmosphere.

Santiago’s most cherished desire is to ignite an end-time worldwide revival because the end of the journey for humankind is at hand in nine short years in the year 2030, when the Lord Jesus will return for His beloved bride, the Christian Church. If anyone has not been redeemed or repurchased from Satan, the devil, by the precious blood of Jesus Christ shed at the cross at His crucifixion, he will die in his sin and will not attain eternal life but will spend eternity in the furnace of fire as pronounced by Jesus, our Lord and Savior Himself (Matt. 13:42 and Matt. 13:50). Matthew 22:1–14 talks about a certain King who arranged a wedding for His Son, and He sent His servant Santiago to call those who are invited to the wedding, but many of them were not willing to come. Then the King said to His servant, Santiago, the wedding is now ready, but those who were invited were not worthy; therefore, go into the highway and, as many as you find, invite them to the wedding. So Santiago went and wrote this love letter and invitation to all whom he found both good and bad. Every human being occupying space in all four corners of the earth qualifies to attend the wedding of the King’s Son because we are all either good or bad. All it takes is accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as one’s Lord and Savior, and the miracle of being born again takes place. And the new creation gets clothed in Jesus, and this is the only invitation believers are required to attend the wedding and live forever in the presence of the Lord. May every believer in Christ enjoy his trip home as we all are raptured to meet the Lord in the air in the quickly approaching year 2030 to attend the wedding feast of the bride and the groom in the presence of the Father. Amen.
