Postface de Delphine Bivona Je me bats depuis 5 ans pour obtenir plus qu’un samedi après-midi sur deux avec mon fils. Mon rôle de père est nié. Mis à la porte de chez moi, perdu dans les procédures de la séparation, ballotté de tribunal en tribunal, j’ai été au bord du gouffre. Un jour, je me suis rendu dans des associations susceptibles de m’aider. J’y ai découvert la triste banalité de ma situation. Mon histoire se répète à l’identique chez des milliers d’autres pères : la résidence égalitaire trop souvent refusée, les Non Représentations d’Enfant abusives, l’éloignement géographique volontaire si peu sanctionné, le tout parfois sur fond d’accusations odieuses de violences conjugales. Ce livre, c’est ma grue à moi. 1,5 millions d’enfants ne voient plus leur père. En cas de conflit, leur garde est principalement accordée à la mère. Pourtant un père sur deux est prêt à s’investir pleinement dans son rôle, mais la Résidence alternée égalitaire n’est accordée que dans 14% des cas. Ces situations à l’issue parfois tragique sont désormais de plus en plus contestées par les pères. Ce témoignage sensible et engagé nous ouvre les portes de leurs expériences ; celles d’un traitement différencié vis-à-vis des mères et d’un combat semé d’embûches pour obtenir le droit à l’éducation de leurs enfants. Éric Landroy est fonctionnaire. Il est actuellement bénévole au sein d’une association de pères séparés. Delphine Bivona est avocate en droit de la famille.
