Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2000 im Fachbereich Politik - Politische Theorie und Ideengeschichte, Note: 1, Universität Hamburg (Fachbereich Politikwissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Kampf um Anerkennung, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Hausarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem System der formalen Sittlichkeit, ein System, welches Axel Honneth in seinem Buch „Kampf um Anerkennung“ entwirft. Darin beschäftigt sich Honneth mit der Frage, wie gesellschaftliche moralische Entwicklung in dem Terminus eines „Kampfes um Anerkennung zu fassen“ ist. Dieses Denkmodell ist angelehnt an Hegel und Mead und stellt den Versuch dar, ein historisch entwickeltes, gleichwohl normatives Modell zu entwerfen. Dabei beschäftigen mich im wesentlichen die folgenden Fragen: Können normative Systeme die Grundlage für gesellschaftliche Entwicklung sein? Ist es nötig, eine Richtung der gesellschaftlichen Prozesse zu skizzieren? Ist die Alternative hierzu ewiger Kampf und Beliebigkeit? Das Ende der Handlungsfähigkeit?1 Diese Fragen möchte ich in der Hausarbeit diskutieren. Dabei werde ich keine fertigen Antworten liefern, sondern fragmentarische Ideen, Kritiken und Abwägungen miteinander in Beziehung setzen. Ich werde Honneths System unter (2.) darstellen. Um zu einem anderen theoretischen Verständnis von Gesellschaft zu gelangen, werden ich in Kapitel (3.) mit Foucault einerseits einen Machtbegriff nachzeichnen, der bei Honneth nicht genügend Beachtung erfährt, andererseits in eine ganz andere Art des Denkens einführen. Diese beiden Modelle werde ich am Ende der Hausarbeit (4.) mit Rekurrierung auf Butler diskutieren. Aus meiner Leseerfahrung des Buches von Honneth rührt nun der Gedanke, in dieser Hausarbeit gleichzeitig einige stilistische Versuche zu unternehmen. Die Vielschichtigkeit des Gedankenganges hat bei mir manchmal Fragen und Kritiken aufgeworfen, die sich auf einzelne Aspekte innerhalb der Darstellung beziehen. Ich möchte versuchen, durch Einschübe diese Kritik an den Stellen, an denen sie lokalisiert ist, vorzubringen. Möglicherweise ist die Art des Schreibens dadurch verunsichernd, aber ein Ziel von Wissenschaft ist – meines Erachtens nach – die Verunsicherung scheinbar eindeutiger ‚Tatsachen‘... ---- 1 Motiviert worden bin ich zu dieser Fragestellung durch die Anregung des Dozenten des Seminars – Herr Nullmeier -, der meine Kritik an Stufenmodellen und gesellschaftlichen ‚Richtungsanweisungen‘ mit der Gegenfrage konfrontierte, was denn die Alternative sei. Ist denn, so Nullmeiers Gedankengang, die Alternative nicht die Vorstellung von einem ewigen, gleichförmigen Kampf ohne Perspektive? Diese Gegenfrage ist die Hintergrundfolie, mich mit ihr zu beschäftigen der heimliche rote Faden dieser Arbeit.

It is ten years since Adolf Griinbaum published the first edition of this book. It was promptly recognized to be one of the few major works in the philosophy of the natural sciences of this generation. The study is organized on the theme of theological anthropology—the state of humans within a theological system.
