Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2005 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Pädagogische Psychologie, Universität Wien, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Arbeit behandelt das oft diskutierte Thema „Gewalt an Schulen“. Dieses Thema ist weit verbreitet und oft behandelt, dennoch gibt es kaum Studien zur Situation in Österreich, noch ob sich die Motive der Täter oder die Ursachen im Laufe der Zeit verschoben haben. Gewalt wurde früher vom Lehrer auf den Schüler mittels Rohrstäbchen ausgeübt. Aber der Begriff „Gewalt“ ist heutzutage vielschichtiger als damals. Diese Arbeit soll einen kleinen Überblick über die neuen Ausprägungen der Gewalt, sowie die Verschiebung der Motive und Ursachen für Gewalt bieten, sie soll weder Lösungen noch ein allgemein gültiges Gesetz für den Ablauf von Gewalt an Schulen, vermitteln. Das Kapitel „Erkenntnisinteresse“ behandelt, das subjektive, allgemeine, aber auch wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisinteresse des Themas. Das Forschungsproblem wird im gleichnamigen Kapitel dargestellt und erläutert. Im Kapitel „Aktueller wissenschaftlicher Diskurs“ werden ausgewählte Ergebnisse, der bisher durchgeführten Studien, sowie die dadurch entwickelten Lösungsansätze präsentiert und verdeutlicht. Die Ergebnisse der Studien beziehen sich leider in erster Linie auf Deutschland, aber die entwickelten Lösungsansätze sind auch in Österreich auffindbar. Weiters sollen in Kapiteln „Dimensionen“ und „Hypothesen“ die Dimensionen, Kategorien und deren Ausprägungen erläutert werden. Was ist Gewalt? Wer ist bei Gewalt an Schulen beteiligt? Was sind Auslöser für Gewalt an Schulen? Welche Motive haben Täter zur Ausübung von Gewalt? Wie läuft Gewalt an Schulen ab? Gibt es Unterschiede bezüglich der Personen-Ebenen, der unterschiedlichen Schultypen oder den Wiener Gemeindebezirken? Sowie der Zusammenhang der unterschiedlichen Dimensionen des Forschungsproblem als Hypothesen formuliert werden. Im empirischen Teil der Arbeit, werden die Dimensionen und Hypothesen operationalisiert. Eine passende Untersuchungsmethode ausgewählt und das Untersuchungsdesign entwickelt. Die durch die Anwendung des entwickelten Untersuchungsdesigns erforschten Ergebnisse, werden im gleichnamigen Kapitel dargestellt, veranschaulicht und interpretiert. Durch deren Interpretation werde die bis dahin aufgestellten Hypothesen vorläufig verifiziert oder falsifiziert.

This book traces international developments in the hooligan phenomenon since the Heysel tragedy of 1985. The authors make special reference to the troubled European championships in West Germany in 1988 and look critically at political responses to the problem. The authors used ‘participant observation’ in their research on British fans at the World Cup in Spain, and at matches in Rotterdam and Copenhagen, and capture the authentic voice of football hooliganism in their interviews.
