Dabei werden Hemmnisse analysiert, die die Rückkehr der Mitarbeiter erschweren und im Gegenzug Anreize und Motivationen untersucht, welche die Rückkehr der Mitarbeiter ermöglichen sollen. Bevor eine Antwort auf die Fragestellung „Wie können Mitarbeiter zur Rückkehr in die Büros motiviert werden?“ gegeben werden kann, muss die Thematik breitgefächert analysiert werden. Dazu gehören solche Themen wie Homeoffice, Digital Leadership und die Mitarbeitermotivation. Dabei bildet das Thema Homeoffice die Ausgangssituation ab, denn die Mitarbeiter sollten aus dem Homeoffice zur Rückkehr in die Büros angeregt werden. Eine weitere Komponente, welche das Führen von Mitarbeitern im Homeoffice ermöglicht, ist das Thema des Digital Leadership. Denn ohne das Digital Leadership ist eine Führung der Mitarbeiter aus der Distanz nur bedingt möglich. Da sich die Fragestellung dieser Arbeit zum Teil mit der Motivation von Mitarbeitern befasst, wird das Thema im Anschluss an die Themen des digital Leadership und des Homeoffice bearbeitet. Zusätzlich soll geklärt werden, welche Methoden und Modelle in der Wissenschaft und in der Praxis bereits vorhanden sind, die unterstützend zur Beantwortung der Fragestellung eingesetzt werden können. Am Ende dieser wissenschaftlichen Arbeit soll festgestellt werden, ob die erarbeiteten Untersuchungsergebnisse die gestellte Fragestellung dieser Bachelorarbeit beantworten können.

This book project highlights creative approaches to planning and local development. The dynamic complexity, diversity and fluidity which characterize contemporary society represent challenges for planning and development endeavours. While research and policy work has extensively focused on large cities and on metropolitan regions, there has been relatively little work on ‘smaller places’. Is it possible to talk about creative capacity building at the level of a town that might release imaginative and innovative activities? In recent political debates there has been a significant change in the valence of the word “experts” from a superlative to a near pejorative, typically accompanied by a recitation of experts’ many failures and misdeeds. In topics as varied as Brexit, climate change, and vaccinations there is a palpable mistrust of experts and a tendency to dismiss their advice. Are we witnessing, therefore, the “death of expertise,” or is the handwringing about an “assault on science” merely the hysterical reaction of threatened elites? In this new book, Gil Eyal argues that what needs to be explained is not a one-sided “mistrust of experts” but the two-headed pushmi-pullyu of unprecedented reliance on science and expertise, on the one hand, coupled with increased skepticism and dismissal of scientific findings and expert opinion, on the other. The current mistrust of experts is best understood as one more spiral in an on-going, recursive crisis of legitimacy. The “scientization of politics,” of which critics warned in the 1960s, has brought about a politicization of science, and the two processes reinforce one another in an unstable, crisis-prone mixture. This timely book will be of great interest to students and scholars in the social sciences and to anyone concerned about the political uses of, and attacks on, scientific knowledge and expertise.
