Puisi ini adalah bagian dari usaha mengeja mendekatkan ciri pada ilahi dengan kidung cinta dan kehidupan. Iramanya mendayu-dayu memantik setiap kalimat yang keluar dalam ruang kebebasan namun terkadang ganas selaksa topan, badai dan tsunami dan terkadang tak berdaya selaksa sebujur bangkai kematian. Puisi lahir melalui tirakat “panjang”, bagaimana kata disempuh, imaji dimasak, diolah sedemikian rupa, menjadi puisi yang benar-benar matang. Puisi adalah rekaman dari saat-saat yang paling baik dan paling menyenangkan dari pikiran-pikiran yang paling baik dan paling menyenangkan. Rekaman dalam puisi merupakan usaha menuangkan, meluangkan, menuntaskan, dan mempermainkan segala ruh dan raganya untuk mencipta setiap kata yang ada. Terciptanya puisi tidak karena “alasan”, tetapi terkadang selalu butuh alasan untuk tercipta, dan dari berbagai alasan itulah puisi selalu butuh pemaknaan dan penafsiran. Puisi akan selalu menyisakan seribu pemaknaan dan penafsiran, ia tidak akan pernah utuh ditafsirkan karena pesona yang selalu melekat dalam kata-katanya. larik-lariknya tak tersekat oleh kebakuan bahasa, dia bebas menerbangkan sayap-sayap maknanya. Sebuah pengungkapan yang tulus, memancarkan cahaya kesetiaan yang tinggi, setiap kata serasa ada kedekatan dengan pribadi-pribadi yang dituju, ia tidak hanya mengungkapkan kata, tapi mampu merahasiakannya, dan kemudian ia belai dengan kalimat-kalimat cinta yang begitu indah. Walau tak mengandung intuisi yang melejit, ia mampu memberikan tetesan-tetesan inspirasi dan evaluasi dari diri bagi pembacanya.
