मुग्धा की कविताएँ सवाल पूछती हैं ख़ुद से और पाठकों से जवाब देने का आसान रास्ता नहीं अपनातीं। सवाल पूछने वाले लड़के की तरह कविता की पंक्तियों के नाज़ुक धागे उलझे ही छोड़ देती हैं। सुलझे या नहीं इन कविताओं का सुख- दुःख इनको सुलझाने के प्रयास में है। अनेक शब्द चित्र/बिम्ब मर्मस्पर्शी हैं और ध्वनि की अनुगूँज देर तक हमारे साथ रहती है। किसी महाकवि ने कहा है—कोई भी कविता कभी पूरी नहीं होती। जब कवि उन्हें प्रकाशित कर उनको पाठकों के साथ साझा करता है तो महज़ सबसे ताज़ा मसौदा इन्हें सौंप रहा होता है। हम मुग्धा के आभारी हैं कि उन्होंने अपनी यह रचनाएँ हमारे रसास्वादन के लिए प्रस्तुत की हैं। वर्षों पहले मुग्धा को पढ़ाने का अवसर मिला था। इस बीच बहुत कुछ बदला, जो नहीं बदला वह है मुग्धा की ऊर्जा और उत्साह। मेरे लिए यह सन्तोष का विषय है कि मुग्धा ने इन कविताओं के संग्रह की भूमिका लिखने का मौका मुझे दिया। अशेष शुभकामनाओं के साथ मैं साभार इन्हें आप तक पहुँचाते हुए अनोखे हर्ष का अनुभव कर रहा हूँ। -पुष्पेश पन्त
