Attraverso l’opera poetica, provo a trasformare una frase in un messaggio che faccia nascere, alimenti e mantenga nel tempo, quello stato, tanto temuto ai giorni nostri, che è la Sensibilità. Essa infatti, è un dono meraviglioso, che va nutrito e difeso dalla denigrazione che troppo spesso le si fa col sinonimo di debolezza. Non è debolezza, ma è invece il coraggio di guardare e capire la realtà per quella che ci appare senza chiudere gli occhi o permettere a dogmi sociali di rivestirla a futile lagna. La Sensibilità non deforma l’essere, anzi lo rende pienamente consapevole di se stesso e di quello che prova. In questa raccolta tento, quindi, di darle voce, declinandola nei suoi diversi aspetti: dalla sfera sociale a quella più intima dei sentimenti e dell’individuo. L’Appesa, titolo di una poesia presente nel libro, descrive lo stato iniziale dell’essere dove più si acutizza la nostra sensibilità, fermi di fronte ad un significato che non arriva, noi stessi ci trasformiamo in un luogo di riflessione e della ricerca di chi siamo veramente e di cosa aspettando diventiamo. Rosa Anna Casalino (Milano, 1982). Non mi piace scrivere chi sono; vi dedico quindi queste belle parole di Gabriel Garcìa Màrquez che ammiro molto, e nelle quali mi riconosco: “Tante cose ho imparato da voi uomini. Ho imparato che tutti quanti vogliono vivere sulla cima della montagna, senza sapere che la vera felicità sta nel come questa montagna è stata scalata. Ho imparato che quando un bambino appena nato stringe con il suo piccolo pugno, per la prima volta, il dito del padre, lo racchiude per sempre. Ho imparato che un uomo ha diritto a guardarne un altro dall’alto solo per aiutarlo ad alzarsi. ...E se sapessi che questa è l’ultima volta che ti vedo uscire dalla porta, ti abbraccerei, ti bacerei, e ti richiamerei per dartene ancora.”

This volume presents new research by the Topoi group "The Conception of Spaces in Language" on the expression of spatial relations in ancient languages. The six articles in this volume discuss static and dynamic aspects of the spatial grammars of Ancient to Medieval Greek, Akkadian, Hittite, and Hieroglyphic Ancient Egyptian, as well as field data on eight modern languages (Arabic, Hebrew, English, German, Russian, French, Italian, and Spanish). Among the grams discussed are spatial particles, motion verbs, case and, most prominently, spatial prepositions. All ancient language data are fully explained in linguistic word-by-word glosses and are therefore accessible to scholars who are not themselves experts on the respective languages.
