In quel periodo conosce due uomini appartenenti alla malavita che inizia a frequentare, attirata dal loro potere economico. Senza rendersene conto Luisa si ritroverà coinvolta in situazioni più grandi di lei, fino da arrivare a perdere ciò che ha di più caro. L'idea dell'autrice nasce dalla voglia di raccontare una storia di mafia, vista attraverso gli occhi di una donna ed esponendo tutti gli aspetti più cruenti della criminalità organizzata anziché i romanticismi, senza risparmiarsi nulla, cercando di dare quanto più possibile un aspetto realistico alla storia. AVVERTENZE: Primo volume della serie. Contiene esplicite scene di sesso, volgarità, droga e violenza. Si consiglia la lettura a un pubblico adulto.
