Se trata de los males que existían y que fueron creados antes de los populismos y golpes de estado del siglo XX, y que siguen vigentes, no solo en Argentina, sino también en todos los países donde existe un alto grado de corrupción. Maestros de la impunidad y de la deshonestidad, la clase dominante de la época en cuestión no era Nacional sino por su residencia e intereses. Tal vez, la lectura de este libro pueda despertar algunas conciencias y revelar cómo se vota contra los propios intereses y los del país donde se vive. Además, Barzini evidencia como los italianos, que prácticamente crearon la Argentina, fueron humillados y despreciados por esta clase, tratados, como lo son ahora, los extra-comunitarios en Italia. Pero atención, porque Barzini no escatima críticas al Gobierno Italiano (del Rey) y a sus diplomáticos. En definitiva, un libro no solo para argentinos.
