Ha partecipato a diverse ricerche universitarie (Itaten, The transformation of the urban habitat in Europe; Returb, I futuri della città) e lavorato ad alcuni piani urbanistici (Brescia, Pesaro, Macerata, Ferrara, Belluno).

City Of Panic written by Paul Virilio and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2005-08 with Architecture categories.

Written in the shadow of war, City of Panic argues that cities everywhere have been the dedicated target of political and technological terror throughout the 20th century. The wanton erasure of the past, the construction of identikit places, the proliferation of gated-communities, the ever-widening net of surveillance, the privatization of what was public. In this globalized and militarized "everywhere," all citizens are becoming one citizen--saturated, standardized and synchronized--ever more reliant on a media fabricating a world of fear. For the panic of the 21st century is simply the final phase of the pincer movement. Place-less, media-fed, panic-struck - welcome to the desert of the real. --- Product Description

School Memories written by Cristina Yanes-Cabrera and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-09-15 with Education categories.

This book reveals how school memories offer not only a tool for accessing the school of the past, but also a key to understanding what people today know (or think they know) about the school of the past. It describes, in fact, how historians’ work does not purely and simply consist in exploring school as it really was, but also in the complex process of defining the memory of school as one developed and revisited over time at both the individual and collective level. Further, it investigates the extent to which what people “know” reflects the reality or is in fact a product of stereotypes that are deeply rooted in common perceptions and thus exceedingly difficult to do away with. The book includes fifteen peer-reviewed contributions that were presented and discussed during the International Symposium “School Memories. New Trends in Historical Research into Education: Heuristic Perspectives and Methodological Issues” (Seville, 22-23 September, 2015).

Materialities Of Schooling written by Martin Lawn and has been published by Symposium Books Ltd this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2005-05-16 with Education categories.

This is a book with an interest in the materiality of schooling. It is focused on objects in schooling, which, taken individually and together, constitute the sites of schooling. It does not assume a fixed dichotomy between objects and people, in other words, that there is a life of imagination and action, and there are collections of inanimate objects. Nor does it assume that the technologies and objects of schooling, chained together by routines and action, should remain invisible from inquiry into schools as sites of learning and work. Instead, by drawing attention to the materiality of schooling, that is, the ways that objects are given meaning, how they are used, and how they are linked into heterogeneous active networks, in which people, objects and routines are closely connected, it is hoped that a richer historical account can be created about the ways that schools work.
