Esta constatación arroja sobre quienes diseñan y gobiernan la ciudad una gran responsabilidad: sus decisiones y su gestión reparten las oportunidades de forma desigual entre sus habitantes. Pero también abre un campo extenso de alternativas que pueden presentar una visión integradora de la economía, el medioambiente y la salud de una ciudadanía diversa. Este libro nos invita a pensar y repensar los modelos arquitectónicos y urbanísticos priorizando no tanto el saber técnico, formal y abstracto de sus profesionales como la dimensión pública y cívica de su actividad.
